Can’t have come as a surprise. Only 1 draw in the last 8.
I don’t think it’s all Clayton’s fault...
Yep. Only outside the bottom 2 by the slimmest margin of goal difference. Another former PL club taking the slide.

Not good enough for us. I’d take O’Connell though. I always thought we let him go too soon. Maybe A.N.Other as a utility player...
Never go (come) back. Same applies to Egan. Quite happy with what we've got, thank you very much!

"League Two Barrow have parted company with manager David Dunn after nine games without a win.

Dunn, 40, only won two of his 22 games in charge after taking over in July for their return to the English Football League."
Barrow part company with manager Dunn

And just to add to his discomfort, another opportunity to resurrect this gem from the archive:

Bilic sacked after achieving a draw at Man City -- you couldn't make it up. Frankly he did well to get them promoted ahead of us as we had the better first eleven in my opinion, though perhaps not the better squad. They deserve to go down.

Blimey, what a backward step that is, surely you'd appoint someone like Eddie Howe and get a 5 year plan in place!
depends if staying up is the be all and end all

IF Allardyce keeps them up he really is a remarkably good manager at doing that.

I suspect neither Allardyce nor WBA have any intention that he’ll see out his contract and it’s all about guaranteeing him a big pay off to go in the summer whether he keeps them up or not.

That club is nuts. They have no identity these days, actually feel a bit sorry for the fans.

Mate of mine is a massive Watford fan. They now expect a conveyor belt of managers and don’t really care when they’re sacked as they are considered disposable.

Yeah agreed, Watford always hire the same type of manager, same style of play etc. It doesn't really affect them when it would other clubs. While I'm not fully approving, it's just what they do...they're usually not worse off for it.

While this has surprised me a bit, logically it makes sense from their normal view. They aren't playing as well as they could be, and as highlighted above they look like they're playing with a handbrake on.

Didn't he win Manager of the Month?
Yes. Literally last month!

Cut n’pasted from the Thomas thread - but Ivac keeps Deeney on the bench, says there’s a discipline problem with him, and that no player is bigger than the club - and Watford sack Ivac. When they’re four points from automatic promotion.

Good luck with whoever takes on that sh*t show. I‘ve read Xisco Muñoz, who is currently in charge at Dinamo Tbilisi, has already been contacted about taking on the job.

swanky hotels home and away and a new manager every few months, theyll soon end up like QPR!
