Simon Jordan has just said that last night Manchester City played the best football he has ever seen. Whilst I often disagree with what Jordan says I feel he is right on this.
I know this isn't Brentford related, other than we are playing them soon, but what I saw last night was a thing of beauty

Yeah they play absolutely beautiful football ….I know everyone goes on about the money and pep has it easy but he still has to get that team to play how he wants …and Phil Foden is an amazing talent for me he reminds me of Gazza who was a magician

Crazy that last night they:

- Started Silva, Mahrez, Sterling
- Had Grealish, De Bruyne and Foden as unused subs
- Could easily have started Jesus, Palmer and Torres and still won the game

Crazy depth in just that one part of the pitch alone.

There would be no shame in being on the end of a tonking against these, but of course there’s always the chance of an upset.

For all their money their success is as much down to having a clear strategy and plan on how to run the club on and off the pitch. In stark contrast to Manu and the likes of PSG.

Not signing Ronaldo was one of the smartest moves they have made recently as well.

Isn’t the game on the 29th?

I probably am in the minority, but I find them boring to watch. It's just pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, score...against a block of ten men just sitting back. Then it's just a question of will it be 4 or 5. I like watching football where it is a contest, I.e. you don't know who is going to win and it's evenly matched. Most of their games aren't that at all...I just don't find it interesting.

Very good team mind...as mentioned above, it wasn't just the money, it was the fact that they knew how to use it well.

In part it’s because so many opponents think the only thing to do is park the bus if they want to avoid a hiding. Palace were more adventurous in being ready to counter and got a good win at the Etihad. If we play as we did against Liverpool and Chelsea we should believe we have a chance. If we do that and they win 0-3 it’d be no disgrace.

Does Jordan know Guardiola managed Barca and Bayern?

Both were better sides from 1>11.
