I thought bringing O'Connell on was the right thing. They were just pumping the ball forward and it let Harlee come forward and attack their long ball. Very good substitution. As were all the others.

Thought it should have happened 10 mins earlier. Vibe was dead on his feet. Nevertheless the changes were spot on even if, perhaps, the timing wasn't. Well done Marinus!

I was in E Block in the Braemar and heard "Marinus, Marinus" sung for the first time, sounded like it came from Ealing Road. Didn't last long but good to hear and good to see Marinus clapping the support (and us him) at the end. How big a game is Sheffield Wednesday?!

New Road centre block behind the dug outs were very supportive of Marinus. In fact didn't hear too much negativity aimed at him or the players before or during the game. He got a great standing ovation when he walked towards the dugouts before the game.

There's something about him I just like, he seems very what you see is what you get. Really hope this is a turning point for him and us.

As has been mentioned above, his subs have been excellent. I wonder how much the stats and the objective data the club obtains has influenced the subs this season? I'm not wanting to take anything away from Marinus at all, however there has been reference to text messages etc so wondered if this played a part?

I've mentioned a couple of times the great reception he got from New Road before the game.

I was really pleased for the fella as he's just so unassuming and seems a thoroughly decent man.

Once again I'm struck by what a nice guy he is. He came across tonight as very genuine. I would suggest that your average supporter and Marinus have much more in common than the previous two managers.
