After what I have seen today, I wouldn't be too hasty in ordering a reprint. I'd wait for the Club to return and people to open the place back up and ask again then. ;) :sorted:
What have you seen today?

Put me down for one please  I have loyalty points 🏦

Joking aside let’s hope the club find a fair way of selling them to genuine fans not eBay scams

If you’re on the GPG, Don’t bid on the two programmes that are on eBay. (£25 and £7.50....at present). There’s at least 50 programmes available plus more in the Club shop, around the ground and the programme shop, I’d imagine. I’d hope enough for anyone who wants one.

Don’t waste your money on eBay.

Perhaps you could post this on Sheff Weds site - Owlstalk?
There's a bloke on there bragging he'd deliberately bought one as we went into lockdown, with the sole intention of making money on it.....

I think it's, "let's wait". There will be a number of Bees fans first in the queue. As noted on here and other media. Plus, wait for the Club to see how many are actually available.

I'm sure there were probably articles prepared for the last game v Barnsley. Perhaps this could be added as an additional wrap around the Sheff Wednesday Programme or sold as a double. As someone has mentioned the publisher will probably want to rec-coup some lost revenue and im sure there would be enough customers. Some examples of the high volume of sales have been produced so there is clearly a market for the special editions. I'd want one each for my boys for example.

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: The GPG has negotiated with the programme producers

"So we have a cast-iron assurance from you that these [programmes] and other unsold programmes will go on sale at face value and no more?"

"100%. As I said, we will even do a reprint if there is demand, but really hard to gauge. We still don’t know if this is the last game at GP, so selling the unsold we have at the club may be enough. If it ends up being the last game then a reprint is likely as dealers and collectors will want to buy."

"Excellent thank you"

.

I see the one they had on eBay has been ended by them!!

Maybe they should’ve waited to see what the Club has instead of selling “their last office copy” to the highest bidder?

To$$ers....

It had a number of bids against it and days remaining till auction closed. The person who was winning on it, is or was the same person winning the £25.18 item

Well I hope the reprinted programme will have some mark to differentiate it from the more valuable original print which I was routinely diligent enough to purchase on the day. ;) :fishing:

It's not really within their gift to make such an announcement but it's pretty clear that we're not going to see another game at GP...
Yeah, just wondering if this is in some way the start of some “non-announcements” (about GP specifically) designed to soften the blow when it’s made official.......

I cannot believe that the club wont have an event at the ground (subject to virus restrictions being lifted) when we can all say goodbye to GP. Even if its not a competitive game.

Who nows what's going to happen, but if they do complete the season behind closed doors and play home games at GP I hope they will produce a comemorative programme for the last game that people can buy online. With a bit of a marketing push I'm sure they could easily shift enough to make it financially viable and would be great to have a special edition for a sign off.

Could also include articles due to be published in the other "missing" programmes.

If football were to resume at Griffin Park, behind closed doors, would programmes be produced and made available to order?

Be meeting in the little garden in front of a cul de sac then, with a plaque saying “Griffin Park woz here” which will be removed in 15 years time

Me neither.

Replied to one of their tweets and they said it takes 2-3 days as of last Monday. But I ordered mine well before then. Thought end of the week tops, but nothing in todays post either.
I ordered a couple of other programmes from that I realised I was missing. No sign of them yet. They don’t appear to be the most helpful company in the world.

I've got a subscription and the Saturday programmes arrive on the day of the game, but the midweek ones can arrive the following day, or sometimes even later.

Ordered mine last Tuesday arrived next day. 👍
Absolute shambles then by this company.
I ordered on the 4th. They said printing on Monday last week, so the 11th, and still not received yet others who have ordered, like yourself, after print have received.

Patience, dear. Don't you know there's been an outbreak of a pandemic disease?

ps. you also live in the arse-end of nowhere, so allow a little extra time for delivery.

Might be worth emailing them. I ordered one on the 4th as well and received it Wednesday just gone.
