Still nothing here.

I ordered three, one for myself, and 2 family members. Feeling a bit bad now as I've let others down.

For some strange reason when I placed my order despite putting it in, my street name didn't appear in the address. I noticed immediately and contacted Curtis who said they would amend the address. Being told now it may have 'slipped through' unchanged.

It still had my name, house number postal town and postcode so I'd have thought it would get to me. Tried the sorting office and no joy. They said maybe its been returned to sender.

I'd be less concerned if I hadn't ordered for three and knew more would be available.

Just how my luck is going at the moment.

You will be if you know that Brentford were in the First Division before WW2 not WW1, and that New Road never became 'known as the Royal Oak End', 'a huge roof' was never added 'to the north and west terraces', there has never been a 'top tier' in New Road...... :nono:

That aside ( ) its a nice enough effort.
Couple of slip-ups on p19 too.

Four years in the top tier? Five surely....
And the four tiers are labelled top, second, third... then third again.

Thought someone might have spotted those. Perhaps in 'non-viral' times, with less restrictive access to GP for fans, they could have asked for a couple of volunteers to check the proofs.

But yes, a lovely item to own nonetheless.

Ordered mine on July 1st and still not received.

Telephoned Curtis on Thursday to be told I should wait until Friday's post and then if it still had not been delivered to speak with the sorting office because they 'had some problems' - underpaid postage?

Anyway, it has not arrived, the sorting office think I am some loon asking them to check if they have it and I kmust hope Curtis can send me one after I speak with them on Monday.

I was told to check with local sorting office too. Waste of time it was though.

It wouldn’t be a proper Brentford programme if it wasn’t riddled with typos/mistakes!

Still no sign of my Barnsley programme. Curtis have advised to wait until Thursday (10 days) as Royal Mail 2nd class can take this long to certain areas.. which I assume includes the Surrey / Hampshire border.

Finally arrived late this afternoon (5pm), along with more post than I normally get all week. It was postmarked 20th so indeed it was RM that gets the black mark.

Think RM get away with a lot as so little mail now has a date postmark.

Still no sign of mine - ordered on July 1st!

Curtis said that I should wait until tomorrow (On Thursday they said wait until Friday!) then phone them again.

I am beginning to wonder if they really exist..........................1

They seem ok when dealing with them by email (Stuart Curtis), but then I didn't order my Barnsley programme in advance as I wanted to be able to share the cost of postage with a play-off game if there was to be one. The cost of posting the programmes to Australia is more than the cost of the programmes themselves!

if there is no official program for the play off final could Curtis produce an unofficial one?

Asked Curtis Sport and said they aren't producing the Wembley programme. Down to Wembley to do it.
Wembley never produced a programme for the league 1 or 2 playoff final so not hopeful.

Probably wrong thread but :

on Wednesday morning one of the cards that have been in the programmes fell on floor when i was putting in in my work bag.
I put on window sill in office to bring good luck , didn't even look at it properly.
Noticed yesterday morning it was a pic of Marcondes celebrating a goal :sorted:

I do hope there is a different programme seller next season after the 'service' I've received from Curtis Sports.

Is there some way of advising whoever at BFC that we need to change the programme supplier away from Curtis.

It does not reflect well when one of the commercial partners literally does not deliver what you’ve paid for!

I’ve received just 4 of the total 8 programmes I ordered.
Have been chasing them for a week by email about this, but they have not acknowledged my messages.

Also they seem to have taken their phone number off their website.

I only had a problem with getting the PNE programme, apart from that all the Saturday programmes arrived on the day, the midweek ones, prior to Lockdown, which arrived well in advance, arrived the following day.

Will be interesting what covers BFC use next season, for the first one at BCS.

TBH, I may have been lucky but I had good service from them in the sense that all my programmes arrived well before or on time.

Totally agree. I received one of three paid for, having paid ANOTHER £6.25 for postage expecting I would receive all three ordered.

Really annoyed as I let two family members down as a result of this.

I had good service generally except for a week to deliver the Barnsley programme. Although the time to deliver was not their fault I cannot really understand why it was not sent first class as all the others were...would have cost only slightly more and if asked I would have paid.

All has worked perfectly for me too. I ordered each of the lockdown programmes and they all arrived before the game. I'm going to see what happens about the Programme Shop before getting a subscription. I had been getting all Bees programmes, home and away, from them. I know that, as it currently stands, it looks like they won't be at Lionel Road but we'll see. Would certainly buy from Curtis Sports again and the programmes this last season have been brilliant.

I never buy programmes any more, but I did order the Sheffield wed, Barnsley and Swansea home one's. All came with no problem at all.

Are you sure it's them rather than the Royal Mail?

Good question. I've had lots of stuff not turn up over the last 3 months including bank statements, share issue stuff and general mail.

I ordered and paid for the Barnsley and Swansea programmes together and they only sent me Swansea. Definitely their fault and not Royal Mail’s.
Maybe they were posted separately

They charged me less on the basis that they would be sent together. And the Barnsley one was delayed for that reason. But eventually they have responded to my complaint and that does seem to be a possibility. Not sure why the Barnsley programme would take a week or more longer to arrive. Can anyone who has it tell me whether it is much bigger in size than the Swansea one?

Bigger in dimensions and bigger in weight

OK, in that case it would have needed a bigger envelope and explains why Curtis have asked me about the envelope. Seems daft that they would have sent them separately as I paid for them together on the understanding that they would be sent together to save on postage and they held back on sending me the Barnsley programme until the Swansea one had been printed.

The Barnsley one was what took time for me. All the others were sent first class but Barnsley was second class and took a week.

If they didn’t send it airmail, then it might take years to arrive! And given the mailing cost exceeded the programme cost, I assume it’s airmail.
