Plenty of players would look rubbish in the City or Liverpool side, and no worst than in there current team. An easy example would be Douglas would have looked rubbish in City and Liverpool, whereas excelled for us, and Jensen currently struggling in our current system but would looked better in current City or Liverpool side. The fact I'm having too even explain this kind of proves my point lolMr Football Brain, can you name me any player who wouldn’t look better playing for Man City or Liverpool please?
Midnight is a long way off, have a bit more water with it.
Pointing Douglas, not for me either.Plenty of players would look rubbish in the City or Liverpool side, and no worst than in there current team. I'm not saying Jensen is playing well, because he isn't but he isn't playing bad either to get the rubbish he does. Our current system isn't getting the best out of our most creative/best passer in the side.
Now two options really he goes or we adjust slightly to get more out of him.
Either way great player.
So basically just agreed with my entire pointIt is of course a valid point to say that we don't have so many runners and so much space, due to being a smaller team in a tough league and often setting up quite defensively.
You made a hop, skip and a jump from there that i thought was... incorrect. I should've remembered though, we're not allowed to say such things. So basically just agreed with my entire point![]()
We won. Before we all get too excited, I’d like to remind you all that our record of losing when Jensen starts is still intact*
FAQs
Q - how does that work when Jensen started and we won?
A - Jensen was subbed off at 1-1 so it doesn’t count
* I don’t make the rules.
We’ve won 2 games that he’s started, Watford he came off at 1-0, today came off at 1-0. Performance isn’t based off set plays. We won.
Jensen started.
I do make the rules.
He didn't play well today but even when he went off, our set plays were poor.
Something to look at !
The magic came from Wissa. Superb finish. He pressed well today, made as many tackles as I can expect from him and a moment of magic got us back in the game. Well done MJ
We weren't getting anywhere near a position to shoot until somebody beat their man which Jensen did. That long passing move goes nowhere without itThe magic came from Wissa. Superb finish.
We won cos we took him off FFSWe won.

He never made a tackle today ? We’re you there ??He pressed well today, made as many tackles as I can expect from him and a moment of magic got us back in the game. Well done MJ
I know there's always one or two players, fans feel the need to highlight as the reason we occasionally lose games. We won cos we took him off FFSthe only reason we win too…I’m near to giving up on him…we are so much better without him

Retrieved the ball better than anyone outside of the defence in the last three. (With the exception of Norgaard today). He never made a tackle today ? We’re you there ??![]()
One thing…..that shouldn’t guarantee you a start next game….those that have played, managed.reffed etc etc know he’s the weak link in that team…it’s not even up for discussion….tf will play him against port vale and they will relish itI know there's always one or two players, fans feel the need to highlight as the reason we occasionally lose games.
Jensen still has a vital role to play this season. He helped set up the equaliser
Maybe don't write him off just yet.
We would never have won that game if he stayed on….and that’s a factRetrieved the ball better than anyone outside of the defence in the last three. (With the exception of Norgaard today).
Yes, I was there.
People see what they want to see IMO. ;-)
Voice, I'm not going to trade punches with a fella such as your good self. We've both made our point. Just one thing though....We would never have won that game if he stayed on….and that’s a fact![]()
...........he was phenomenal against Oldham................One thing…..that shouldn’t guarantee you a start next game….those that have played, managed.reffed etc etc know he’s the weak link in that team…it’s not even up for discussion….tf will play him against port vale and they will relish itshould be nowhere near our starting 11 once missing players are back

Yes. He nearly cost us a goal. It was today though. ;-)I loved his work in the move leading to the first goal and hope he’s not badly hurt.
Did I get it wrong or did he give the ball away tomorrow e if their players in our box right after halftime?.
And now we’re up to:Don’t bother. It’s a pointless conversation. There will be a constantly redefined set of criteria that makes it impossible to give Jensen any credit. Let me explain:
You say:
Jensen played 60 mins at West Ham and we won
They say:
He didn’t start the match so it doesn’t count
You say:
Jensen played 70 mins against Watford and we won
They say:
We scored after he was subbed so it doesn’t count
You say:
Jensen played the full 90 mins v Bournemouth in the play offs and the full 90 v Swansea at Wembley.
They say:
That was last season so it doesn’t count
You say:
The stats show Jensen made more key passes (Burnley) or created more chances (Norwich) than any other Bees player
They say:
That’s a made up stat.
And so it repeats ad nauseam
Nope …winning today has kept us upVoice, I'm not going to trade punches with a fella such as your good self. We've both made our point. Just one thing though....
... please, please, please, for the sake of fk... is it not about time you started the official relegation thread? You are threatening our very survival in the top flight by not doing so!! ;-)!!!
Good job he didn't make that substitution on 41 minutes. ;-)Nope …winning today has kept us upthanks to TF substitution on 70mins

Sorry VOB, I played/captained a Saturday side in the Southern Amatuer League for 23 years winning 11 league titles and 7 cup finals. I was always happy to accommodate a "luxury" player in the side who could create or convert chances providing the other players could cover his lack of defensive actions. No I would not play him against a league 2 side or an aggressive Burnley type prem side or a side like man city where we spend 80% of the time in a low defensive block. But against the majority of Prem sides he would start. One thing…..that shouldn’t guarantee you a start next game….those that have played, managed.reffed etc etc know he’s the weak link in that team…it’s not even up for discussion….tf will play him against port vale and they will relish itshould be nowhere near our starting 11 once missing players are back

To be honest if I was playing I would have left him out of the whole move and prob scored 5 seconds earlierGood job he didn't make that substitution on 41 minutes. ;-)
(Please start that thread)
LOL LOL LOL Love it!!!!To be honest if I was playing I would have left him out of the whole move and prob scored 5 seconds earlier![]()
That’s your opinion…mine is most of my fellow players would be cringing at the 70/30 in his favour tackles he pulls outi ofSorry VOB, I played/captained a Saturday side in the Southern Amatuer League for 23 years winning 11 league titles and 7 cup finals. I thought it was him, but I’m at the other end. Frank subbed him pdq after that though. We were better after he went off, but then again we’ve often finished games better than we’ve started them.I loved his work in the move leading to the first goal and hope he’s not badly hurt.

If you add the goalie, Toney, Wissa and Nørgaard to the defence, it only leaves 3 other players!Retrieved the ball better than anyone outside of the defence in the last three. (With the exception of Norgaard today).
Yes, I was there.
People see what they want to see IMO. ;-)
He went off injured, it wasn't TF's decision. He did ONE thing in the entire time he was on the pitch….thank god TF sees it the way most sane peoples did and subbed him for baptiste who did more in 20mins![]()
LOL. True. They're all defenders when the others have the ball.If you add the goalie, Toney, Wissa and Nørgaard to the defence, it only leaves 3 other players!
Have you been talking to the Telegraph? To be honest if I was playing I would have left him out of the whole move and prob scored 5 seconds earlier![]()
Yeh….cos he really would have stayed on for much longer in that scintillating form anywayHe went off injured, it wasn't TF's decision.
Were you there?![]()
It’s for the bestHave you been talking to the Telegraph?
"Roerslev played a neat one-two with Norgaard and crossed low for Yoane Wissa to outwit Kortney Hause and smash his first goal since that win at West Ham past Martinez."
Jensen air-brushed from history. :-(
The opportunity for that pass was created by Roerslev's run. Without that l suspect MJ would have simply lost possession as there was nowhere else to play the ball. How far back do you want to go in analysing the move? For sure IMO we wouldn't have scored if the ball hadn't been delivered to Wissa.Brilliant goal.We weren't getting anywhere near a position to shoot until somebody beat their man which Jensen did. That long passing move goes nowhere without it
It’s the Premier League. Luxury players don’t exist.Sorry VOB, I played/captained a Saturday side in the Southern Amatuer League for 23 years winning 11 league titles and 7 cup finals. Have you seen Ronaldo? It’s the Premier League. Luxury players don’t exist.
What? He's gone missing?Have you seen Ronaldo?
If everyone is fit, I agree. One thing…..that shouldn’t guarantee you a start next game….those that have played, managed.reffed etc etc know he’s the weak link in that team…it’s not even up for discussion….tf will play him against port vale and they will relish itshould be nowhere near our starting 11 once missing players are back
