Is this the fella that takes free kicks?
Strange one this. Why would we be signing an 18 year old kid when we have Gunnarsson who counts as a Home Grown player in any case?

Yeah, from both sides, considering 5 other PL teams apparently in for him.

Third Keeper? Only two listed in @Les Beeavinu 's squad list.

And Gunnarsson doesn't even have to go on the 25 Squad List being under 21. And neither would this chap.

I guess that means we could have a larger outfield squad to cover the expected Covid chaos.

Interesting and thanks for the reply. I'm also guessing we need a deeper squad as we are in the Prem. Alot of these teams have 3 players for each position. I know we don't have that budget but we need more choice.

Look at Chelsea who had 17 players in the Euros but some of their selected players for their respective countries are no where near (regular) for their first club team. I.e Billy Gillmore.

You can name up to 25 players, with some additional exemptions for young players. It's covered in Les's Squad Thread.

Maybe what we are seeing is that the B team Is "evolving" to supplement the first team strength.

Last year, I can remember about 18ish regular first team players but now we can name 25 plus some exemptions for youngsters.

There would appear to be a recent twist in this transfer. It also looks as if he may play in their next match.

Looks like this could be one of the 3 signings to be announced today?

I'll be honest, I'm struggling to keep up with our 'keeper situation. We would then have 4 keepers on the books, but only 1 (Raya) in the first team squad?? Is that our strategy for this season, seems kinda risky?!

You really are struggling to keep up! We will have 5 keepers on the books with this guy. 2 in the first team squad and 3 in the B team (plus 1 on loan)

Ah yes, I missed Nathan. But I don't think that really changes the equation much. Raya is our only keeper with anything like the level of experience required to play GK in the PL, so I'm not quite seeing the logic of adding another youngster when we're crying out for a solid back-up if Raya gets injured.

Doesn't appear to be in either Wimbledon line-up tonight in their two friendlies.

Ahhhh, maybe this is the third signing then. In fact, it probably is given that there are no other obvious candidates.

Wasn't any fanfare with it though? No tweeting of the pens etc etc..
