Unfortunately it's too late now, as the process has been "agreed"/set for this season......
Hope there will not be

But say there were big issues with Liverpool fans in home end today causing disturbances

Then the club may be told by the PL to look at their selling policy ??

Who do you know that has missed a game?

Tickets are on sale to members, then on the exchange and some of these are going to people with few taps, no Taps or away fans even.

The Club actively promoted sales of Child STs as “extras” within a group. One, it ticks their sales boxes and two, people like me took the gamble to buy one in the hope we’d get to the EPL. Therefore, my son, my family or a bees friend could come and sit in the same stand as me and my daughter and boyfriend.

What do you think of Arsenal fans paying out £280 for a young person ST and watching Brentford? Maybe we shouldn’t sell to non true bees too…….?
Can I be the first to congratulate you. All these years living a double life must have been hard. Great the family have accepted your boyfriend into their lives. Great he loves football too. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

sorry couldn’t help myself.

Ask Brentford fans unable to get a ticket what they think of this. Seems crazy that this is permitted.
If we were in the Championship, it'd be celebrated
It’s not my job to allocate tickets. When he is eligible for a ticket with his membership is up to the club.

Ultimately because he is too young, at the moment when his membership is used to purchase a ticket this is passed onto another bees fan who (for any circumstance) was unable to get their own ticket.

If I leave someone else to buy that ticket in the free-for-all then it could quite easily be an away fan that gets it, couldn’t it? Whereas at least I know I’ll only ever bring along another Brentford fan. So I don’t feel I’m doing anything wrong.
Mad that you have to sit here and justify this behaviour!

Do 8 month olds definately need a ticket? I know the days of lifting kids over the turnstile have gone but would you get asked for a ticket with a baby in a sling? Surely not?

OK, I may have misjudged this. I read it that a ticket was being used by babes in arms in a situation where tickets are rationed. I get why people want memberships for their families; I just don't like the idea of empty seats. Apologies to anyone who I may have unintentionally maligned.

I’m sure @BFC1997 ’s 8-month old will forgive you 😁

Don't think there's a better thread for this..

We are to only sell "digital membership" which is exactly the same, but without the pin badge and card.

A new benefit for all My Bees Adult Members is also coming from November – free access to BeesPlayer (formerly iFollow). BeesPlayer will be available to all Adult Members – both digital and previous Members. This online platform gives you the inside track on our Club including live audio commentary for all Premier League and Carabao Cup fixtures.

Congratulations by the way. Last month I registered my second born a couple of hours after the birth so I look forward to hoovering up tickets, much to Edmundo’s chagrin!

Hi all. A less frequent poster here than I used to be.

Apologies in advance as I suspect this has been discussed earlier in the season but I've lost the tin hat so helpful replies would be appreciated...

I fall into the long-standing supporter group- - first game in 1977 - and then introduced my son to the delights of GP in 2012 when he was old enough. In other words, an awful lot of lows and more recently some great hights, a lot of money and many motorway miles over the years.

But....I am not a season ticket holder for several reasons. So I decided to email the ticet office to ask whether a long purchase history and a membersjip this season would gaurantee us any PL games this season and they simply sent me a pre-written reply, with various links which didn't answer any of my questions.

So I decided I would get more sense on the GPG. With 1200 TAPS and a membership, is that realistically going to get me anywhere with purchasing tickets this season, home or away? And as I have to purchase a second memberhsip for my son, I assume this is no gaurantee of tickets for him either, so what's the incentive of spending another £50?

I don't expect to be able to attend the bigger games, but clearly would like to experience the new stadium once or twice and get to a few away days this season if possible. Tv isi great but we are missing the live football.

Thanks for any help.
Many of the bigger games are televised so they are actually available because many of the long distance ST holders put there seats up for re-sale, I guess. I have my own secret way to get tickets.

The shop sent everyone the same packs. No ifollow unless you return all items, sorry mate.

🤣
Serious reply: you get BeesPlayer regardless, digital members just don't get a physical card or gifts

Digital season tickets will be coming sooner than we think.
I'm not sure if that's meant to sound like a threat but someone said another club that uses this ticketing system (Everton?) allows the option of season ticket access with some sort of smartphone app / NFC technology.... so it wouldn't be a surprise. You're more likely to leave a card at home than your phone I suppose, though your card won't run out of battery before an 8pm ko.

The cards are NFC anyway so it’s no great leap.

was at Spurs for the NFL Sunday and these were digital tickets with NFC and it all seemed to work perfectly.

Reception can be an issue.
I used my phone for Carabao Cup games and me and the boy set up a whats app group and I send the ticket to him so he can scan.
Seems to work.
For other games I just printed the QR code and scanned that.
Worked too.
So if they go down that road then I suggest a backup is print off the QR code and scan that.
Can take a smaller piece of paper with you too.

Just announced membership includes access to Bees Player. At last something worth the fee rather than a little card holder and a piece of plastic that was redundant ever before it was made. How do a I get a refund on my Bees player subscription?

A very good question.
I believe you simply email ifollow@efl.com and ask for a cancellation. Think the cancellation is effective from the start of the next month. You should get a confirmation back pretty quickly - as below:

Thank you for contacting iFollow Support.

We have opted you out of the renewal on your monthly subscription and you will not be charged again. Your account will allow access until 21/11/2021.

Thank you for using iFollow. We’re sorry to see you go, but hope to have you back in the future.

Please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Yes, but that's monthly subs where you haven't paid them yet. It's the refund on annual subscriptions that will be fun. And no word yet on if this applies to STHers too...

I read somewhere that TAP's are transferable, my grandson has 750,how do I go about transferring them on to mine.
He is friends and family.

On another subject, I have received my membership audio iplayer pass, which is not needed, can I transfer to someone that may need?

If one had more than one account that was personal to you then they could be merged, but you can't transfer someone else's TAPs to you (or vice versa)

I have now read the BFC notification fully. It includes instructions on how existing Bees Player subscribers with an annual membership can get a full refund.

Gosh, I wonder if that's anything to do with the attractiveness of the fixtures.

TAPs are allocated on the distance to the away grounds. That is what we were told. Obviously someone is using gravity too.

and, if you're assertion is correct, then why isn't Brighton 1,000 TAPs?

Is that as the crow flies? Pretty sure driving to Leeds is about 195 from BCS to Elland Road.

Yes. I believe that is what it said originally on that page before it has been replaced with values.

I don't think cup games use the same scale

Or did you make a fuss that Oldham and FGR got more points than Liverpool?

Well even League Games aren't correct.

Oldham and FGR were home games. And Category F+, so TAPs are correct.

As you were.

It was me who said this @nanny58, because that's what the ticket office told me!

Was buying ticket for myself for Liverpool, website fudged it. On the phone to ticket office, they weren't very helpful so I suggested buying one in my brothers name as I knew he couldn't go. I mentioned TAPs, and was told they can be transferred with permission of both parties.
