And to think we went decades without getting a point from Boro. We're playing like a top tier team this season.. Defend and attack in numbers, with quality.
Would also add the consistency we seem to have found really sets us apart. This is a really competitive league and of all the teams in the league I wouldnt want to be down to a Neil Warnock team away from home in bad weather. Yet here we are...

What a result! Didn't see that coming at HT, rode our luck a bit first part of the second half but soo clinical! Top second halfs from Toney, Raya and Jensen. Josh to come back v reading too. Can't beat that!!

A very fine win indeed. Bees look unstoppable at the moment...

Amazing stuff. Shouldn’t doubt our resolve and ability by now, but I wasn’t expecting that after 4mins :):)

No signs of us crumbling under pressure from being in the auto spots as many of our rivals suggested and hoped.

What a WIN ! Massive statement to the rest of the league. Such a tough place to go, Boro having a full week off, new loan signings and thrashed them 4-1.

We are witnessing something special with this team. The best side I have ever seen and best side in this league by a country mile.

Raya was superb !

Huge statement. We had a bit of luck along the way, or perhaps I should say some poor Boro finishing and fine Raya saves, but also some very fine football in terrible conditions. It's hard to imagine our forwards not scoring at the moment

Raya is a huge liability. Yet people - some of whom will presumably reply to this - won't hesitate to defend him. Too many errors, and the biggest obstacle to our promotion.

We should have replaced him in the summer after his stunt re. Arsenal
This post aged well, didn't it? 🤣

Awesome result. Would never have happened at Boro in seasons past and our new resilience makes us THE team to beat/watch in the Championship. After years of flirting with promotion in the play-off positions, we are now looking like the real deal - and let's not forget without a number of key players. What amazing character this squad has shown to perform at this standard after last year's end of season....As we are seeing now, that disappointment has put us in a very very good place.

Beating a Warnock side 4-1 away from home is no mean feat - what a performance and incredible that we are now 20 games unbeaten.

Yes, we rode our luck at times, but we also made our own luck. David Raya more than redeemed himself with all his saves, and we were ruthless every time we had a chance. The Boro commentators were fawning over us by the end of it.

This was some result. I am so proud of this team!!!

Listening to the Boro commentators talking about Brentford after the game has been like taking a warm bath.
"We were beaten by a better team..."
"Brentford are a really, really good side..."
"Brentford are the best team in the league..."
"Brentford deserve to go up...
"They're solid in defence... Raya made some fantastic saves... in Toney they've got the best striker in the league..."
And so on and so on. I could have listened to it for hours.

I believe anything is possible now. Winning 4-1 away from home to a Colin side is unbelievable. Maybe after 63 years of support I will get to see the Bees in the top flight of English football. Tell me that 10 years ago and I would have laughed at your joke.

That was a ruthless performance from a team that look at the top (top) of their game.

This is getting very, very exciting.
