Middx 218 all out.

Leicestershire need 378 to win.

Trying to calm myself down.

It has. Another loss.
They have competed well in the first innings in almost every game, and folded in the second. Are they being too aggressive? The talent is there, but this season is becoming a horror show.

Just picked up all my old Wisdens from my brother. For those of us despairing about current performances, here's a classic from 1983, with a team bona fide legends. Extras top scored second innings and a whisker away in the first.

Doing pretty well so far.

Run rate of just over 11 with all the wickets in hand, Can Morgan get a very quick 50 when he comes in? Lots of excitement to come.

Brentford is in Middlesex and so I naturally support them, rather than Surrey, unlike some.
Born in Surrey.
Closest football team: Brentford.
I guess I just lucked out.........
Unlike some!!! :ROFLMAO:

Jacks put Surrey in the box seat with a sensational knock and from there on they were always favourites but it had the makings of a good game before Sterling was run out and then Tom Curran took a quite incredible one handed catch - and Middlesex, sadly, fell well short. It didn't help that Surrey played in their Swansea away colours (and the umpire at the Pavilion end seemed happy to ignore several above the shoulder balls from Surrey - it wasn't Keith Stroud was it?)
However, something is seriously wrong at MCCC. We can't play any form of cricket at the moment. Time for a serious review and overhaul.

My son went, in his white Brentford shirt, with his Orient supporting mate, and had five people say "Up The Bees" to him, which wound up the Ooze fan.

So well done who ever they were.
