Padres the team to beat this year you'd imagine with their trading.

I think my Cubs will be luck to hit .550 tbh. Going backwards every year since the WS win.

The Padres would need to overcome the San Diego Sports Curse
However in recent years some of these “curses” have been overcome for the Phillies, Red Sox & Cubs.
Petco Park home of the Padres has been a pitcher friendly stadium since it was built and the Padres have continued to tweak the dimensions to make it more hitter friendly.

Curses are made to be broken as you say!

Im always sceptical if a brand new team pretty much can compete - but baseball at least offensively is on a par with cricket as a bunch of individuals whilst batting. Most important relationship is between catcher and pitcher....

Didn’t realise Cubs resigned Arrierta. Cant say I’m overly pleased.

An interesting play in the top of the 3rd of the Dodgers game in Colorado.
No matter how many games you've watched there is always something that happens that you haven't seen before.

First proper HR for The DODGERS last night, following on from the one they f***ed up on Opening Day, and the Inside the Park one on Saturday.

As a Red Sox fan and a former Dodgers season ticket holder, I hold out more hope for the latter this year!

Am I the only one that keeps clicking on this thread thinking it’s about Mads Bech Sørensen?

Joe Musgrove throws the San Diego Padres' first ever No-Hitter in their 3-0 win over the Rexas Rangers.

I thought it was strange that the Blue Jays had a home game postponed because of rain.

yes because otherwise everyone would have to self isolate when crossing the border. :)

feel a bit sorry for the Jays players not being able to see their families for an indefinite amount of time

Carlos Rodon of the Chicago White Sox threw a No-Hitter, and took a perfect game into the Ninth Inning against the Cleveland Indians in a 8-0 win last night.

Another big loss thanks again to the bullpen. The Ray's are now on an 11game win streak. The starting pitchers are okay, but where they got those relievers god only knows

Quite a remarkable run for someone who was expected to be cannon fodder!

Dodgers tried to throw away a 9-1 lead, at The Diamondbacks, giving up 6 runs in the 8th.
Finally hung on to win 9-8

Arizona's 17th straight loss.
