Most points earned in the EFL over the last decade

I found this article from Four Four Two magazine, which ranks all teams by total number of points won in the EFL over the last 10 years (Jan 1, 2010 to Dec 31, 2019).

It makes for interesting reading - only one team has won over 700 points in that time.

If you reorder by points per game - that makes it a lot fairer.

In that table we’re 16th out of 97, which is pretty good considering a lot of the top spots are the likes of Newcastle / West Ham.

I've just knocked up a table which I call "points earned in the English top tier when allocated the home dressing room at Griffin Park" (2 pts per win, 1 pt per draw). Enjoy.

4 Birmingham 0 pts
5 Blackburn 0 pts
6 Blackpool 0 pts

* We may have played a home game in Division 1 away from Griffin Park. I'm sure one of our resident historians can help.

I'd be very interested to see a "League Table" of average finishing position over the last 10 seasons. That's a fair evaluation on all clubs from 1 to 92 (other than those who have come into or dropped out of the Football League in that time)

However it would have been calculated, at the same time it will illustrate what a superb decade we have had. And one many clubs could only dream of. Love this club

Absolutely, I only started supporting the club in 1998. I would certainly say i've seen more ups than downs since then, it's been a really entertaining 22 years! Long may it continue.
