In a bored moment the other I was thinking about which away team I've been to the most times (whilst watching the bees).

The answer is Bournemouth, MK and Brighton (tied with 6 each).

It got me thinking about the most visited away club by us in recent times. Where you have watched us most away from home?

Probably Swindon for me going back to the 77 cup match. Hopefully never again as I probably dislike them more than Fulham.

Huddersfield this year. Southend, Chesterfield, Bury, Rochdale, Wycombe and Brighton. Newport was a fairly regular one .

You sure about Brentford? It's a bit like telling me who I've had the most sex with.

For me, it would be Gillinhham. When I was young, living in Kent, it was the only time I saw the Bees away as I could get the train there.

Colchester united and southend united, we always seemed to play them in cups as well as in the league, pleased I don't have to go back to layer road, terrible ground.

It was much more fun there than the Lego set they've built to replace it.

I think it's the same for me. Fulham, Bristol City & Rovers (Eastville & Twerton Park) must be up there for me but I always seemed to end up at Springfield Park every time we played there (never been to the new ground)

Went to SP numerous times, never saw us win, they moved to their new Stadium and we win on our first visit. Like you I haven't been to the new ground.

Each club we've played reasonably regularly, will have years where we don't play them, because of promotion/relegation issues for us and them. Can only speak personally, but (in no particular order) I seem to have visited Swindon, both Bristol clubs (including Twerton Park for the Gas), Reading (both grounds), Orient, Sarfend, Foolham, Posh, Cambridge, Lootown, Wycombe, Colchester (both grounds) and Millwall loads of times each. There's definitely more, but less frequently.

We had a lot of years away from Putney whereas most seasons bar a couple I seem to have visited Swindon and lost the car in those estates off one of the roundabouts!

Well in the 1970s and 80s going there in the back of lorries and bouncing about on a wooden terrace behind the goal was all part of the Colchester experience, but being a bit old and past it now, a seat in the new stadium suits me better.

Lost my car there after the play off game, took me and a mate about 20 minutes to find it.

Always a touch lively at Layer Road. I'm fairly sure the OB had a crack-down in the early 80s and there were 16 arrests when we played there once, out of a crowd probably less than 4,000. There were 7 arrests at West Ham this week and it was front page everywhere.

If you get the opportunity, do it. One of the better new grounds, except for parking there. I drove to Lewes this season, parked in station car park, and took a train - one stop to Falmer, which is right next to stadium. Easy peasy!

When we played them in the FA Cup (2nd round) late 90's (draw here lost the replay) I lived on Brook Road South, got back to my house and a Col U lad was sat on the wall, jumped off and offered me out! I was so stunned I just laughed and walked through my door. Completely on his own as was I.

Worst thing Aldershot fans did was rock up at the end of our 77/78 promotion season. Haven't seen them since!rofl

That 4-5 was a mental day, on and off the pitch. Big away turnout helped by Western Region of BR selling cheap awayday tickets to Blackpool for that day not realising we were playing up there. Quality goals, especially from Carlton, Billy Holmes, and a McNichol rocket from miles out.
