I reckon it was Rochdale away, Nick Logan pink hat day after we got a late winner, nothing going on, small away crowd that for 20 mins sung we’re pushing it up but keeping it tight…..over and over again. He laughed, those with him looked proud, sounds naff but a nice moment or 20 mins during a dreary game.

Yep that was a strange but lovely footballing moment watching the bees. Lovely bloke Tony sat next to him on supporters coach a few times in my early years.

Did he tell you to push up when you were hogging his seat?

It was indeed mate. There wasnt much better than being on a northern away, with us starting to build some momentum and looking like we might get a goal and Tony shouting out “Their rattling Brentford, their rattling”

This is great. I was pleased that part of this clip was in that recent Brentford film.

Like many I remember him from the quiet away games rather than the busy ones. I'm pretty sure my only successful trip to Accrington (lost 1-0) he sat in with the home fans, near the away end, because there were no away seats. His solo cry was in danger of embarrassing the handful of home fans in the seats near him....but you cannot drown him out easily!

Also remember him full force at Bristol Rovers...he was on the terrace that time...we were defending a free kick which seem to take an age to be taken. Tight brentford, tight brentford, keep it tight.....keep it tight Brentford..........push out
