Does anyone know if we're planning on entering the B team into these cup competitions again this season? Quite enjoyed going to the odd game and seeing some new non-league grounds..

Not entirely sure how fair it is for us to field a side in the competition but it certainly gave the B team a lot of valuable competitive match experience..

I personally want the in it. Gives them some much needed experience in games that actually mean something.

No reason as to why the B team wouldn’t be allowed to enter these competitions again. I’m sure the Clubs we played had a bit extra in their accounts afterwards too.

Good competitions for the B teamers. As long as the other clubs accept our inclusion?

I wouldn’t want the B team to enter the EFL Trophy, that’s for sure.....

Because we aren’t billy big balls. That trophy is for the two divisions below us. I wouldn’t want academy sides in the competition if Brentford were still in L1 or L2. Its wrong.

The B Team has entered again this season and have received a bye in the first round.

Brilliant news. Walking distance for me although the club bar might be a bit busy so might use Myllet Arms pre-match.

Tried to look up Hanwell Town's record attendance but had no joy

This from 2015

"Hanwell, who had already gone through three rounds in the FA Cup, average just 100 people per game, but for the visit of Grays – “The biggest game in our history” – they were expected three or four times that figure. And their expectations were more or less realised."

Thanks... so there must be a good chance of a record attendance on Saturday :)

Bummer. I'm away. Love this ground. Fantastic surface.

Had my 'testimonial' on this ground when I retired from playing back in 1996. Old Westmidd v then current Westmidd. I played a half each side. Scored the obligatory penalty. If I go then I think I'd prefer the Kent in Pitshanger Lane to the Mylett

Pay on the gate, with either cash or card,
Adults-£8
Over 65’s-£4
Under 18’s-£1

Beer: £3.50

I am reliable informed that County Cups admission charges are set by the County FA and normally carry a minimum admission. It's suspected that this is £8.

A bit of research would indicate that these are Hanwell's normal prices....

Yes, looks like it goes straight to penalties after a draw.
