Would suggest Mogensen will be sent out on loan or sold next season.

if this happens then hopefully it has a happier ending than macleod
Young-Coombs is wise to that twig-snaring problem. He checks the playing area first and stores them out of harms way

He would benefit from a loan, however, no way would we sell him. Check the show reels of both players!
Given he has been out for months we will nurse him back to form and fitness. No chance he will go out on loan this window.

The big difference here is the lads English not Scottish like Macleod

He's English, so no need for a work permit if the Jocks get their independence and join the EU first ;)

Though I'd say his hairdresser's from another planet...

Rangers originally got him from Chelsea, while it was rumoured in September last that WHU were interested in him.
Wearing one of Frankie Howerd's old rugs/syrups? (for anyone under 65, Frankie wasn't a Brentford player😉)

Anyone know if he signed a pre-contract?
A quick look on the Internet shows Rangers News, Ibrox News and several other sources saying that he is looking for a move back to the south, and that now he is into the last six months of his contract he can speak to other clubs. Without saying we have signed him they do state very clearly that we have won the race. So in a nut shell I think he will be ours on 1st July.

Why have we paid £100k if his contract is up in the summer? Tribunals don’t count for Scotland do they? Or have I missed something

(or is he that hot property we just want him all to ourselves)

He was apparently on West Spams radar in the summer. If we think there's a 33% chance he is the genesis of a £1m+ player, it would seem a smart investment to buy him now rather than risk getting into a signing war in the summer. And let's face it, if he's worth £100k now or free in the summer, the first thing a savvy agent will be asking for in the summer is a £100k signing bonus or thereabouts...

The report from Football Insider implies that we have agreed a deal with Rangers not with Young Coombes, but then it states it is a pre contract agreement that is being signed. This does not add up. A pre contract is with the player, and not with the club. If we are paying £100 K to Rangers then he will join as soon as the contract is signed if with the player then he will agree and sign a contract now and join in the summer. There need not be a signing war in the summer if YC signs a pre contract now, and sees out his contract with Rangers. Whatever, as you say it would seem a smart investment.

Not that I think there's much chance, but if an u21 HG player signed for the B Team can they be promoted to the senior team?
Not this season.
