wow! At long last….

I really really like this. It’s almost perfect, apart from the sponsor. What a shame. But on the whole great apart from that. Also I’m not a huge fan of the collar, I imagine it must feel a bit restrictive, but a great shirt nonetheless. Lovely to see traditional stripes, but personally, I think they missed a trick by not making them marginally skinnier, perhaps a block at the back to make the numbers and names more visible would help to raise the profile of individual players for the new international market.

The traditional feel of the shirt is lovely, but will younger fans go for it? I wonder if they want some fancy details placed on it. The bee on the back; nice touch! I sort of wish it was the castle badge instead, is meaningful to so many and we already have a bee on the front badge. People have commented that there should be some black on it, which I agree with to a point, but we have a top top, top here, so cannot have it all. Anyway, it’s not the lack of black that is the issue, but rather the fact that maybe the red is a little too desaturated.

Great effort BFC and Umbro, perhaps consult some fans for design input next time. I reckon if you asked 100 fans for ideas, then homogenised them all together you would be onto an absolute winner.

Do the childrens kits have the option for the sponsor or not??? as without it - not quite the same

It’s our first PL kit so inherently a classic just for the PL badge on the sleeve.

Yellow doesn’t suit my skin tone so I won’t be buying the away kit which looks a bit like it might be staff polos at the local bowling alley anyway. But I suppose we need to keep some yellow on view once people are covering up all the lovely yellow seats at BCS!

I hope there’s a nice third kit to come.

The sponsor word 'Hollywood' kind of makes it look like some kind of American tourist restaurant uniform.
"Hi and welcome to Hollywood Stripes restaurant, may I take you to your table?"

Apart from that, if the collar was all black instead of red with white vicar patch, it would be really beautiful.

There wasn't when it was Matchbook as sponsor. Gambling companies cannot advertise on kids kits. I know kids like to copy the teams and its a bit of shame really. What's the smallest adult size?

I believe prem requires a third kit, so there should be one.

Not a fan of the sponsor either, would have preferred something like this. But overall I like the kit and quite honestly we could play in a red and white striped bin bag next season and I would probably still buy it
I’m surprised that more breweries haven’t become kit sponsors in the name of their 0% alcohol products, like Heineken managed to do at Euro 2020.

i'm glad, there was no black in the shirt when I first started going. An all red collar instead of the vicar's dog collar and it would be perfect except for the tinpot addiction company on the front.

What if you work for a tinpot betting/gambling company or an alcoholic company?

Personally I couldn’t give a care who sponsors us. The Club wants income and if they’re the only ones to stump up the money, then that’s fine.

Tobacco, alcohol and betting advertising will all be banned soon enough. Give it another year….

A number of people wanted Asahi/Fullers so the ground could be the London Pride Stadium…. Surely that’s just as bad?

Really like yellow shirt BUT the rest is yellow too. Please black shorts and socks!
It probably will be when used but I think for the official submission to the PL you can not have the same colour shorts with both kits.

Ah yes, the 3rd kit for when we play Lens, Galatasaray or Partick Thistle
Don’t you have to for the PL I seem to recall this was the reason for last seasons white monstrosity existing was because it had to be submitted already to the PL before the season was finished.

Love both kits.

In the past, when I Haven't been too keen on the home one, once the players are wearing it out on the pitch I don't really notice it.

Indeed. I’m sure they’ll do this for next season’s shirt.

I can’t wait to put that on - inspired by the 1980/81 Adidas shirt, with the castle badge obviously. We’ll look brill in our bespoke artisan chemises with discreet vented sides and a signature COYB IMBWT ITFWT backweave melded into the nap.

I normally prefer some black on the home shirt, but I like this one. I have this daft preference for the middle stripe to be red, not white, which this has; to me that gives the impression (rightly or wrongly) that there's more red than white. Also, the fact it has the stripes on the sleeves gives it a "classic" look.

I also love the away shirt.

I feel the home kit is slightly ruined by the sponsor. Doesn’t look half as bad on the away kit tho.. The premier league badges on the sleeve will do everything justice 😉

Liking the away kit more and more. On the home shirt are the white stripes thinner than the red or is that just my dodgy eyesight?

I was just having a look at West Ham’s kit for comparison and noticed that they sell shirts both with and without the sponsor on them. Do you think Brentford will offer this option?
Personally, it would make me more inclined to buy a shirt if I could purchase an unsponsored version.

Really surprised at this but you’re absolutely right about the West Ham shirts. See they also do a long sleeve option which would be good too.

It’s a great idea as my 14 year old only fits men’s and they probably wouldn’t like that so gives him an option and also anyone looking at the Hollywood bets logo stretched around my middle is more likely to end up at paddy power so they are not reminded of it.

Was hoping for a really iconic shirt for our first season in the PL, but tbh the home shirt is a bit 'meh', as people have said, just a dash of black and a proper collar would have made it miles better. Not entirely convinced by the away shirt either. Looks nice but not really v Brentford. Sponsor is horrible but needs must. Doubt I'll buy it unless it looks like it's going to be our only season in the Prem!

I think the shirts are agreed and signed off, during a season so these were agreed last season for this season if that makes any sense

Not keen on the home kit. Reminds me of the shirt under Noades first season. Shiny and cheap looking. Needs a bit of black somewhere IMO.

Away shirt is ok.
