I popped to the club shop on Sunday & had to go for a size up as well. (Despite me having lost weight since I took up running).
Definitely worth bearing in mind if you order online.

Is that up a size compared to last season’s?

The Umbro kits have already been a touch tighter than adidas

A size up on last season definitely,
I went from medium to small since Umbro took over from Adidas now I’m medium again.

Am I safe getting a Marcus Forss #15 jersey? He's a total stud in my FM21 save. Thanks - Bees noob here - started following BFC last year. Hard to get a ton of info in the states and want to make sure I make a smart investment. Go Bees...

He wore number 9 last night … not sure if that’s his new squad number .. you might want to hold on

I thought a lot of people (like Guilford Bee) had found that Umbro kits were smaller than Adidas for the same size, hence asking if needing to go a size up this year was compared to pre-Umbro kits or last year's Umbro one, because if the latter that might mean two sizes up from what someone would usually imagine they needed.

Anybody know when the training kit will be on sale?

Absolutely love that blue 3/4 zip top they're sporting in training pics at the moment!

Same! And every time this thread gets bumped I hope it's notification that the training gear has been released!

Hi there- folks at the club shop said training wear will be arriving mid-August. So shouldn’t be much longer before it’s available for purchase.

I'll keep the labels on my unbranded Umbro top in that case!

Do we know when squad numbers submitted to PL for name printing
In previous season, the squad is informed to the PL when the transfer window closes, so that probably continues this season... but there's absolutely no reason why any club does not allocate squad numbers before then – and most will do that – so I'd guess it's before 13th August for us.

I would hope that seeing they are selling them with players name and number it will be as stated. Think my kif would be a bit disappointed if Toney turns up with number 2 on his jersey, as would I after paying for a personalised shirt.

I think I’ve played it safe by going for Canos 7 for me and Raya 1 for my son (he nearly went for Toney but there was a risk his number might change and my son also usually plays in goal).

For anyone needing advice on sizes, I got the away shirt in XXL.
I'm 6'00" and 14 stone.
Slightly 'roomy' and a bit long, but preferable to the XL, which I reckon would have been a tad snug.......

I got mine in an XL rather than a usual L as suggested and have sent them back. Too roomy and long.

Also the home shirt had a red 'dye bleed' across the bottom. Have to say I wasn't massively impressed with the quality.

Judging by the Premier League Content Day clip of PG, it looks like Ivan is retaining the number 17 this season?
He was offered the number 9 shirt last season but wanted 17 which is why Emiliano switched. Toney will always be 17 i reckon.
so 9, 10, 11 up for grabs. Ghoddos revealed he's now 14, Fosu said in the Brentford video 'my number 10' to JDS. I reckon Forss will take 9. MPH number 11? Ajer 35? (number he had at Celtic)

someone tweeted this, doesn't look real but you never know, some people clearly have too much time on their hands as we've seen before with fake leaks on the Brentford sites. Would expect our 3rd kit to be light or blue or some sort. Doubt we'd be able to wear this against Watford?

Anyone who placed an order hear back as to whether the team will update the kits for players who've changed numbers? I sent an email to the shop, and tweeted at them, but haven't heard. Thanks! (I read the letter re: business/office/shop growing pains, so no big worries. Just don't want to have the jersey show up at my door with an old number.)

I tend to wear XXL shirts, definitely when buying regular tops from shops, and my blue Umbro top from 19/20 is XXL... But last season I got the XXXL as I originally received the XXL but it seemed tighter (and before anyone asks, my blue one still fits as XXL as do other shirts I buy).
So this time I've gone for XXXL. I do prefer baggier shirts so hoping this is not going to be like a parachute.

Also, how come a normal, no name/number shirt, also take 10 days plus to arrive whilst if I bought direct from Umbro I may have received it already?

I was trying to work out how often a clash would.lead us to need a third kit. I think it's only once or twice.

The fact it has the wrong sponsor on it would suggest it is a fake I would say.

New kits are fairly decent. Only downside is I am not too happy advertising a betting firm but I would think people would take one look at me and it would put them off ever using the company.
