No issues buying them, that was easy enough. I bought two tickets as season ticket extras for a couple of guys at work that are over from Germany and will be here for the Forest game. For print at home it is asking me to complete a questionnaire and is asking for a name and dob (I guess as they are under 25 tickets, (which they both are)) but it wont let me change the names they are defaulted to as the season ticket holder. If they are season ticket holder extras then by definition these will not be in the same name as the season ticket holder so why is the name not editable?

It was a very long time ago but 30,000 crowds were not unusual for second division matches at GP in 1950s. Was it the ease of (pay on arrival) entry?

There is a solid core of say 7000 fans who are unlikely be put off by the well documented ticketing issues or lack of promotion for the new stadium but how do BFC intend to consistently attract the gap of some 3000 or rather more when we move to LR?

Did original specification for new ticketing system (old one worked so well) include loading match tickets on member’s cards, discounts being applied when booking, loyalty points being added to accounts and an easy to use web site?

Went to the Fixtures area on the website and filtered on 'First Team' and 'Carabao Cup'. Cheltenham is there with a 'Buy tickets' link but taking this gives 'Error Page - Error Unfortunately you are not authorised to browse this URL'. I Don 't understand.

Surely its not rocket science to just buy a ticket for Cheltenham.
Send a yes no email and if yes just put it on season tkt card. Its very poor.

I can’t get the Cheltenham tickets online either. Why is everyone getting het up about it. It’s hardly going to be a sell out. Just give the ticket office a call and speak to someone and order them, sorted.

Called the ticket office today for my Blackburn ticket and had a 20 minute wait. Which was an improvement on my 35 minute wait last week when I called to buy my Aston Villa ticket. That's nearly an hour of my life I won't get back.

Why can't some of the Marketing army, who seem to be doing precious little else that's useful, just get their backsides down to the ticket office and help man the phones?

Good point. When I phoned this morning, there’s an automatic response saying Cheltenham tickets are not on sale currently will try later in the week. Stress not :)

All the phones are being answered so they would be in there doing nothing like spare pricks at a wedding. How about the Director of Marketing just gets the website fixed, given he commissioned this sh*t show in the first place.

Renewed my grandson's membership on 2nd July, still haven't received his welcome pack yet, phoned ticket office just before the rotherrum game & explained situation I was informed that his new card would be sent out the following week as per ticketing problems, still not received his welcome pack or membership card so rang again today & they are going to reprint his card but no news on when his pack is going to be sent out, now he is only 4 so not to worried about when his card arrives as no plans to take him yet but it would be nice to receive his welcome pack

On a seperate note while I was on website I noticed that a ticket had been reserved for me for the Cheltenham game

I booked Cheltenham online, but my god it was a reach around to do it! It also offered to load them onto my card on one screen, but that wasn't an option on the 'delivery' screen. So they're being posted instead...

It also said that this was my last day to reserve my ST seat for the game, which came as a bit of a surprise...

Install some more lines? It's not hard. BT would be glad to oblige I'm sure.

As for the website, I've given up hope. I have asked for a new password (I've forgotten how many times now) and nothing ever happens. Maybe we're going to be reduced to scrapping the system and starting again. There seem to be so many different problems that there must be fundamental design issues in the software. It might be easier to re-install the old system and make a few minor tweaks rather than persevere with this mess.

As you say, surely someone has to be held accountable for this disaster? I don't know who wrote the requirements spec, selected the vendor or managed the implementation but ultimately it all feeds into Devlin. He needs to show that he's got this under control and that he's putting competent people in charge of recovering the situation - otherwise it has to be his neck on the block............

You can pay in reacharounds now apparently. Not on the gate but down a side alley I guess

Are they really giving season ticket holders less than a day to reserve their seat for the Cheltenham game. Would be less ridiculous if the system worked. What planet are they on at the moment ffs.

I have been trying to book Cheltenham tickets for my 2 kids who are on my F&F but just can't seem to? I am on the auto cup purchase so its not a problem with purchasing my seat

I have tried to make a new purchase for them but I think their seats are on hold as they are not available .. any ideas or help would be appreciated

I'm having the same trouble, perhaps if we wait until Thursday when they go on general sale they will be available but that rather defeats the object doesn't it?

:bound: Great idea. Lets bring back public hangings at Hatton Cross! :sorted:
He's in charge and his people are screwing up business critical systems and affecting money coming in. There's no sign of him getting a grip on it. In most of the places I've worked that would have got you the sack. Why are we tolerating it?

My Cheltenham tickets have been auto uploaded to the season cards according to the site. Would be perfect had I not forget to cancel the auto subscription as we won't be able to go.

Presumably it’s been reserved for, er....you. Another link that need ironing out.

God help us if we win and get one of the big boys in the next round.

Just had a look myself. You need to click the “subscription transfer” option and that will take you through to an order for your seat.

All blindingly obvious, of course.

First experience of using it this season other than renewing my Membership back in July.
Bought ticket for Forest game. System automatically applied my £5 Members discount without me having to do anything extra. (£18 for ER - fantastic value btw!!! :sorted:)
Printed it out (admittedly not ideal as I would have preferred card upload).
All took approximately 2 minutes.
Another 2 minutes this evening sorting out Forest tickets for badgerbee Jnr (successfully allocated to his membership) and Miss Badgerbee, who have decided they fancy going too. (Both printed out)
Langport posse looking forward to another trip up from Somerset to GP!!! rofl :sorted:

Underneath “subscription transfer” there is an option to “consult”. That’s the one you need to click. I’m not even making this up...

I just don't understand how something like this can happen. Not in any ticketing system. Very strange. Has anyone seen something like this when buying tickets anyway?

Posted this on the villa thread, but thought it was worth mentioning here too.

After years of using the old website and never having a single issue (tickets always delivered very quickly, 2 days in most cases), the first time of using this site to buy my Villa ticket and they've sent it to my billing address, not delivery address. And the website status says this, even though I know it has been delivered at my billing address:

Screenshot_2018-08-22-04-30-58-570.jpg

So it's sent to the wrong address and status is not sent even though it has!

I feel the people working in the ticket office at the moment, they must be swamped with queries all day. This really does need sorting out ASAP.
