I know you all want me to say something on here and sorry I haven't been able to. It is very easy for people to snipe at BIAS on here but remember that we are all volunteers and there are only a handful of people who want to put themselves forward and a small proportion of that handful are actually willing to take on some actions, the number decreases every year. But of course the buck stops with me as Chairman.

Hopefully there will be some new people who want to come on board and help out and turn things around, but the AGM is in three weeks. There will be some more stuff on the BIAS site in the next couple of days.

With regards to ticketing I have emailed Kurt and Mark earlier today with regards to today's statement from the club asking to explain how we are in November and have key functional elements missing from the site and what decisions why decisions were made to go live without it. The ticketing site is a shambolic situation which looks to me like someone has done a very bad job and defining specifications when procuring.
Cheers hobbsy.

May.I suggest that you copy your emails to the BFC board as there has not been any sign that they have a flicker of interest in this though Owlsmoor Bee has told us that the subject has been discussed at every BU board meeting for a while now and then presumably through Messrs Merritt and Kerr on to the BFC board.

My own view is that it's time that Cliff Crown said something to reassure us that individuals are being held to account on this and to confirm that the BFC board has agreed a timeline with the responsible parties and especially the CEO to get this sorted.

We are all to blame as with the one key exception of Banana who has kept us alert we have got slack and enjoying the success of the Club at the on the field level we ;probably assumed that the incompetence and lack of leadership seen off the field with the various screwups over the past few years were now surely a thing of the past. We now know that this is patently not true and we have to wonder how much more of this sort of stuff has been going on unseen by supporters, covered up by executives and the issues solved simply by throwing more of MB's dosh at it.

It's time now for a review of of the executive staff and consideration being given to bringing in some new blood because as Banana said some days ago we've either been lied to or the executive simply didn't have a clue what was going on and took others words for it that everything was okay.

Weird. I just got an email from the club thanking me for securing my membership for the 2017/18 season with lots of links and information on how to buy tickets.

Ditto...I also got the email just after 9 this morning. Thought someone at club might have noticed what they had done and sent another email or maybe issued a comment on the OS by now.

Getting it fixed has been outsourced from Kurt’s incompetent mits, so I expect some sort of progress on this now.

How about this issue then??!!

I seem to have two new friends attached to my account. How? and WHY!? :suspect:

Capture 1.JPG

If either of the other two are GPG'ers I would also ask the Club how this has happened.

Leah is OK mind you..........

I have deleted the other two accounts from my ticket account. I wonder if others have the same issue?! Or am I or Leah on anyone elses account?!!

It’s good to see the screen dumps showing how to follow the Ticket Exchange.
More of this type of info please

Rebus . Can you please see if it’s possible to get the screen dumps put in the FQA’s on the Ticketing Web Site for future recaps

You shouldn't need screen dumps. Google doesn't provide them! If you need a manual to use a website then the website has failed.

I see TAP’s and exchange have been sorted out. Does anyone know how many points are awarded per game and season ticket attended/bought?

Just checked mine, no randoms on there.

3/10 for the mobile version of the ticketing site. Awful enough trying to find the above info, buying tickets on that must be horrific even compared to the desktop version :(

Edit - still no indicator that seats are restricted view, still no uploads to membership cards.

Great that the TAP's are now visible in people's account's. :sorted:

 It would be nice to actually click into it and see the individual breakdown or am I missing something here? :fishing:

When part of a team putting in major computer system into a multi site manufacturer, screen dumps were part of the training aid and found to be very useful

So I see we have a fancy new ticket booking site. Better graphics and even an attempt at seatview ( not very accurate ).
I only just noticed these updates today when I visited to try and book extra tickets for the Norwich game. Got an email saying I could get 2 extra tickets for only a tenner each. Bargain. Except that they are £28 each on the website and I can’t work out how to get the £10 offer.
Made sure i’m logged and that the tickets are being bought in my name, but still £28.
Anyone else managed to get £10tickets online ?

Edit - nvm I worked it out and have purchased. Not very obvious though.

I’m just talking about the usual BFC site. Not used it for a while so new to me but the changes are probably not new to you.

The view of the stadium to chose which section and also the seatview is new to me. I last booked about a 3 weeks ago and i’m sure there was no option for seatview.
A nice improvement I think.

Having booked my tickets for the Christmas season, I noticed this rather annoying aspect of the site (which has improved). It says tickets 10 pounds, but when you click on it you see that is the lowest price ticket, in this case for disabled supporters. Once you select your ticket requirement (e.g. Adult, Senior etc) then you see the regular prices. It actually makes ticket prices seem more expensive as it sets the mindset of "ohhh, only 10 pounds" and that makes the subsequent 25 or 20 pounds now seem high. Poor marketing at best, misleading at worst.

I do like the look of the Tickets Screen on this web site, I think showing the ground layout is better than Block Numbers, people will get to see at a glance where they will be in the ground . It was just a click on an area that highlighted that area

Not sure if I am late to the party but I am 99% sure one of them is a GPGer...

If you want to give him a nudge I'll pm you his username...

As a Club Member, you're now able to upload Match Tickets to your Brentford Cards when buying online*. If you buy additional tickets for friends and family, you will be issued with ‘Print at Home’ tickets, which will be available to download within your online ticketing account.

Yes. Apparently this was only delayed because Kurt wasn't happy with the customer journey on this one. No, seriously. Yes, all the other one were OK. Seriously.

It does look good - nice to see that finally some of the pain is beginning to pay dividends.

Once you click on a seat the seat number including row is displayed - but be aware that clicking on it also selects it so if you don't want it you need to delete it.

Tried for ages to book 3 tickets for season ticket holders and gave up. Can see how you can buy the free seats but unable to see how you book seats held by season ticket holders.

I also gave up on booking for Oxford. Whatever happened to the 'preferred seat' that used to be saved on the old system. Ticket booking is now as bad at the current on-field performance!
