Tickets Newcastle (A)

Got the email this morning, shy of 1500 TAPS but have attended Newcastle (and Sunderland and Carlisle...) the past and thought I was in luck for a guaranteed ticket with payday at midnight but no dice

How much was it in total anyone who's purchased before so I can count my pennies?

As long as you are at least a member then TAPs are irrelevant at this stage. Tickets are 30 quid with 1 pound postage so total of 31 quid

Edit - just re read and your issue is having funds available today. I reckon you may be alright until tomorrow but would try and get it today if you can

There's no obstructions just a very long way away!

Because the total allocation per game is 3000 (pretty much) in the PL.

Were you going thru a tunnel with no reception and that's why it took so long to put them up? Was refreshing for a few mins.

No away tickets are kept aside for a free for all. They only go on general member sale after the STs and Members with sufficient TAPs to guarantee a ticket have had the chance to take up the offer and a lower tier of STs have had a chance too.

I stand corrected, I thought there was a % kept of the total (Members isn't exactly a "free" for all) this is just for home games.

The uptake of away tickets for this, one of the biggest away grounds didn't make getting any today much easier.

Brentford have also had a decent away following as a percentage of home crowds. I think we come close to selling out most grounds, even Burnley (away) is close, which is fantastic considering the trains etc.

Given that these little extra windows have appeared for the last few games, they really ought to be calendared in the initial ticket detail announcements rather than with an hour's notice. Far better to say on the day that there are no extra tickets for this game than announce an extra x hundred.

These have lasted a lot longer than 6 minutes BTW
