Got the email this morning, shy of 1500 TAPS but have attended Newcastle (and Sunderland and Carlisle...) the past and thought I was in luck for a guaranteed ticket with payday at midnight but no dice 😭

How much was it in total anyone who's purchased before so I can count my pennies?
As long as you are at least a member then TAPs are irrelevant at this stage. Tickets are 30 quid with 1 pound postage so total of 31 quid

Edit - just re read and your issue is having funds available today. I reckon you may be alright until tomorrow but would try and get it today if you can

Thanks boss that's grand an in line with Burnley and Wolves. Was £27 in 2016 but was worried it'd be £47 with the Premier League bump 😓

My TAP point is irrelevant as I guess keeping a % of tickets for a free for all means any away games are going to have a limit of 2500/3000+ for non ST/Premium members.

Aren't they all restricted view at Newcastle!! They certainly are with my eyesight. Genuinely didn't see any at that price though for an adult ticket

Do you mean people or points?

Because the total allocation per game is 3000 (pretty much) in the PL.

Got distracted with work and missed out

Secured one with home fans with a Newcastle S/T holder mate already but not going to be the same :(

Were you going thru a tunnel with no reception and that's why it took so long to put them up? Was refreshing for a few mins.

More tickets in baskets might come about when the expire in a min...

You might be able to dispense with the breathing apparatus and binoculars though!

No away tickets are kept aside for a free for all. They only go on general member sale after the STs and Members with sufficient TAPs to guarantee a ticket have had the chance to take up the offer and a lower tier of STs have had a chance too.

Didn't see the "restricted view" ones though, would have been cheaper with same taps!

It's cracking weekend away. Not going this time around can't get the weekend off work. Geordies were welcoming.

I stand corrected, I thought there was a % kept of the total (Members isn't exactly a "free" for all) this is just for home games.

The uptake of away tickets for this, one of the biggest away grounds didn't make getting any today much easier.

No, it's just for away games. Members get to buy tickets for home games straight off the bat!

Someone posted on Football Awaydays a few weeks ago,
"Let's see how many they take to Newcastle"
I think it was after someone posted our away section at Palace.

Newcastle - Sold Out!!

Brentford have also had a decent away following as a percentage of home crowds. I think we come close to selling out most grounds, even Burnley (away) is close, which is fantastic considering the trains etc.

November means it’ll still be tee-shirts for the lads and mini-skirts for the lassies Saturday night around Bigg Market…

Given that these little extra windows have appeared for the last few games, they really ought to be calendared in the initial ticket detail announcements rather than with an hour's notice. Far better to say on the day that there are no extra tickets for this game than announce an extra x hundred.

These have lasted a lot longer than 6 minutes BTW

They may be dependent on ‘reserved’ tickets being released, such a players’ F&F.

Is St James Park just high or steep as well? If that makes sense.

I know when I went Spurs new stadium when it opened, I had to be moved because of how steep it was 😂

No probs with heights, been last row at both hammers and Wembley it’s just when it’s steep not a fan of

Bought mine as a member, looking forward to it!

Apparently I didn't  Despite remembering to do it! But no confirmation e-mail and it's not in my order history.

Fortunately, it still let me book one today! Which puzzled me slightly... May have got away with one here!
