Nicky Adams is now on the transfer list at Rochdale.

John Coleman doesn't fancy him in League 2 ?
A bit odd, unless he is on too much money

Came to Brentford in an ON - OFF - ON move, then didn't play much.
I heard the ON - OFF bit was due to a health problem Nicky had.

But he did well for Rochdale after signing for them permanently.....appeared around 10 times for Bees without scoring. We won 2 of those games - Stevenage (JPT- away) and Sheff Wed (h)

Not that it reallly matters but he played against Everton as wel,l which we won, although he was our weakest player on the day.

I can't see us putting out to bring him down south.
More likely to find a club up there.

Lets face it, he left as he wasnt getting first team games cos Scott changed his mind on the player.
I understand Scott always saw the signing of adams as a gamble due to a possible recurring knee injury.
Who knows what might have been ? :moo:

Scored against his former employers the other night, obviously. He's actually got 11 goals for his season.

Didn't he score against us earlier in season...
Nope, that was a Craig OG and he claimed it. Don't worry GPG, it wasn't Craig's fault as he was doing a defiant job in trying to stop a certain goal, the emperor's new clothes are mighty fine.;)

Will win their Player of the Year this season.

With that he will get a freedom of Crawley badge and some free vouchers in Macdonalds.

Gets to open a new Poundland store and an 89p shop.

Lucky boy.

Rotherham have signed Crawley winger Nicky Adams for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

He finally sorts his geography out & moves back up north. Hope he gets off to a winning start tomorrow!

Strange one, I would have thought he was far too good for League 2.

He's gone from being the best player at a midtable league one club to Bury without doing anything wrong.

Bury don't want him for league one, even. Seems like we did well to let him go, albeit at a loss.

Good to hear! Sorry, I was under an obvious misapprehension that we'd paid a fee for him.
We did but we washed our face when he went to Rochdale first on loan and then with a permanent contract where we were paid a fee and add ons for matches played. I've just checked my files again to make certain that I was correct before replying.

He couldn't settle in London and wanted to go back north.

What was it with Scott's desire to keep signing right sided midfielders for about a month?
It was part of the trade off for us moving the dugouts to New Road. :)

Andy said he wouldn't make a fuss if he could have fifteen right sided midfield players and it seemed a good idea at the time.

He came to us with such high hopes but was ultimately very poor. Think perhaps a lot down to his attitude, didn't look happy here

I believe he was homesick. Still think he was a very talented player
I remember reading on a forum after we signed him, an Orient fan where he'd been on loan saying "well that's Brentford going up then"

He's been a bit of a 'lucky charm' for clubs. Promoted with Rotherham in 2013/14, Bury 2014/15 and Northampton in 2015/16. He was also in the Carlisle team which got to the play-off in 2016/17.
