Nope im pretty sure they are doing it out of spite.................. Hes been AWOL since before Xmas and it looks like the club have extended his contract so it stops him signing for anyone else.

Yes i think this is the case. But without knowing too much about how registration etc runs im pretty sure they hold his card/registration then and ensures he cant sign for someone else. If the case well on them and Ranger deserves everything he gets................... Another player ruining what could have been a good career.

He is a on a pay as you play contract with incentives for goals and wins . Sadly last season neither would have come in to play I would imagine by their league position !

Am I the only person who thinks "Whats he done now?" when they see this thread get bumped.
I know there was some reason why they extended the contract but if repeatedly failed to turn up for work and gave no indication of why I wasn't coming in or when I might be back I would be sacked, can't they just terminate his contract?

What were you in for?
They used to have team in West Middlesex league I think. Also a team called Feltham Ex had a team. Played them in a QF of Middlesex cup back in early 80's. Certainly a game when you found out who in your side had some real bottle. We lost 3-2 though!!

We played cricket against them too......also had fixtures at Ford Open Prison and Broadmoor!!!!! Now that was scary!!! Had all our ties and laces taken off us when we arrived and we were really worried that they might have put bromide in our tea!!! Looking back we probably should have had a rethink about who our Fixture Secretary was!!!!
