Good bunch at Rusthall - all 22 chaps made a lot of noise at Fisher on Saturday despite being 'battered by the Fish' 5-0. Eight year old with a loud hailer too.

Looks like I’m the first one back.

Aberystwyth town v penybont in the welsh league cup second round .

£6 for me and £1 for my kid to get in. Just paid on the gate and No taps needed.

I went to get a programme but In actual fact it was a track and trace form and there was no programmes on offer at all :(

380p for a pint of staropramen and 200p for a pint of coke. There was food but hard to see what it was or the prices. They are very hot on Covid here and masks and no hanging Around. Once in the clubhouse we decided to see what stupid crap division penybont played in and why they had the audacity to play the mighty aber. It turns out that they finished 4th in top Division last season and we were the underdogs. How embarrassing

Around 200 fans I reckon. About 8-13 away fans tops. Next to zero chaps. An Oldham fan with two of his mates was closest it came. He came over to congratulate bees and wish us the best. I resisted asking if he knew @opinions

The guy doing the commentary on radio taffyfarm was right next to us in the second half.

Standard of football was beyond shocking. I started counting how many times three passes in a row occurred and gave up after a 20 minute run where it happened just .twice Away team were far better in first half Including a headed goal on 5 minutes. The Seasiders came back in to it in the second half. I was getting freezing by this time and was hoping no equaliser so I could go home. Alas on 85 aber equalised via a penalty. Thankfully it was straight to penalties and up our end with all the ultras (four 15 year old kids ) penalties were great fun and the good guys won out 5-4 in the end with lots of misses and saves

No boobies. 8/10

Ascot Utd v Holyport in the FA Cup last night.
402 in attendance, stroll in the park for Ascot as they won 3-0. I think the first goal of the cup this year was scored in the 12th minute.
A few bits of Bees merch in the crowd.

£7 entrance. £1 programme
£6 Burger with cheese and bacon which was the best food I’ve ever had at a football match. When it came up in a brioche style bun I thought it might be good. Tea £1.

I reckon about 120 there.

Littlehampton by far the better side. Could easily have had 10. In the middle of the second half they were just trying to keep possession. 1-4 after 25 mins.

Met another Brentford season ticket holder there.

A goal kick from Harrow Borough FC
Saturday 7th August 2021 17.15
F A Community Shield - Wembley Stadium
Leicester City 1 Manchester City 0
Admission: complimentary. Attendance: lots (half fullish?)
Programme £5. Half and half scarf £15.
Budweiser £6.15 Magners £6.15....
Chapping 0 (family section), though a surprisingly large number of Leicester lardarses who couldn’t’ have sat down if they’d wanted to..
August showers, but despite being in Row 4, we remained dry.

Eventually won by an 87th minute penalty, just as everyone had given up.
Nobody had their shooting boots on all afternoon. LC more or less full strength, but rusty. MC 3rd team with a sprinkle of regulars, and kids up front (nos 53 & 80, replaced by 96!) If Pep plays that team against us, we’ll stand a chance. Sir Jack Grealish deigned to get his boots damp, and immediately became pantomime villain/hero to either end of the stadium...
I can see why we’ve gone for midfield pace and power in an effort to match both of these teams...

im near to giving up on some of these people......what is seriously wrong with them ??? lol lol

Christ the anti bedwetters are getting in a state here aren't they ;)
Admission £6
No idea about a programme, not sure there was one.
Chap count extremely low, I would have to say single figures and it had a family feel about it.
Drinks wise they have Peroni, Carling, Corona, Magners, Golden Ale by the Ascot Brewing Company.
Prices start from £3 which is a bottle of Peroni so average out about £4 - £4.50
They are trying to brand themselves as The Ascot Sports Bar so good luck to them.
Menu and prices as per pic......happy now!

Farnham Town v Guildford City

Att - 120 ish rough count
No chaps Fleet John
10 or so from the Sweeny army at Guildford
£7 entrance

Currently 0-0 - Guildford hit woodwork twice and good save either keeper.

Will be surprised if Guildford don’t walk away winners by end of game.

I checked soccer base but couldn’t find who it was . I looked at career history of all orient players in 1999 who made just one appearance. I may have missed it or he may be mistaken but just telling you what I have found so far

Saying that you made one appearance for Leyton Orient is easier to get away with, and believable.

Agreed.
I think he was lying / exaggerating, especially as he mentioned 98 /99 is season, where he would have been 30 ish.
Thanks anyway.

Sunday 29th August

Bradmore Vets 3 Whitewebbs Enfield 2

Competitive 1st half.
A bit of wrestling just before the half time whistle.

2 chaps, one running the line, calling for every foul and more vocal than most of the players. The other chap was the home manager who complained that the ref was ruining the game, annoying the players, giving too many fouls.

2nd half was calmer, Bradmore scoring a stunning winner midway through the half.

Crowd 22
Weather. Warm yer cloudy.
Scenic views of Stanbourough Lakes from the pitch at Lemsbury Village Hall.

Bar in the pub over the road, a full selection of ales and lagers. Sausages and chip selection for the players and coaching staff presented nicely.
No vegetarian option.

I went to Wealdstone v Southend yesterday. I was wearing my Brentford anorak and it was amazing how many people were saying "Up the bees" as I passed through the crowd.
About 1000 Southend supporters present which created as good an atmosphere as you can get at Grosvenor Vale. I felt a bit sad as I have family who are Southend supporters and I remember some very good Bees v Southend games. Now look at Southend playing the likes of Wealdsone in the National League. It could have happened to us had it not been for MB.
As for the game, it was quite good for a 0-0. At first Wealdstone were outclassed by a team of full time pros, but gradually they got into the game and a draw was a fair result.
I used to watch Wealdstone many years ago when they played at Lower Mead. Grosvenor Vale is awful in comparison. However, Wealdstone deserve enormous credit to be playing in the National League after many massive setbacks over the past 30 years.

I was there too. My second Casuals game this season. Corinthian Pale Ale and one other I forget the name of £4.20 a pint. Tea and coffee £1.50. Burgers about£3.50/£4. Someone at the bus stop after said there had been a fight but I didn’t see it. No love lost between these two sets of fans who share this ground though.
