Virtual Programme. Evidently some physical ones were trialed again today, but long gone by 14:40ish

Decent game but little 'jeopardy' for a neutral like myself.

One element that was unusual is the 'ultras' at one end were about 14 and below. In fairness they made a load of noise and even as a bitter and twisted middle aged man I can appreciate they were doing their bit to, pretty effectively, try to spur Frome on.

Just arrived for budleigh salterton v topsham town. The budleigh keeper resembles david raya though warming up with a fag hanging out of his mouth suggests not, good crowd, 23 here so far.

Do Budleigh Salterton play where the cricket club do? Played there a few times! Used to stay in Topsham when we did!

Slough Town 4-1 Hampton and Richmond Borough

£13 Admission, before the game online.

£5 Sausage Roll and Burger.

Attendance: 813 (30 or so chaps from Slough who Alan Julian tried to take on a couple of times)

Bit of handbags, apparently between the two substituted Hampton players.

Slough well worth their win, and could have scored more, things don't sound right at Beveree, with reports of factions in the dressing room.

Normally attend a Boxing Day game at a new ground when up North over Xmas. Settled on Doncaster vs Sunderland this time, but not only did they move it to 27th Dec, but they wouldn't sell tickets unless with a previous purchase history.

Presumably this was to prevent Sundland fans infiltrating the home stands, but considering they're doomed to relegation and eventually only sold 10,751* tickets in a 15k capacity stadium, it puts BFC's ticket sales policy into perspective.

* - 4,500 of them Sund fans.

Good game which took me back to our days in the basement division. Ex-bee Robert Milsom grabbed the winner from the spot in the 89th minute.

Quite hard to believe Sutton are where they are as I remember watching them play Staines in the Isthmian League. The ground is still fit for that level, however they're getting good crowds due to their on field success.

The win takes them up to third, so I guess their supporters are now eyeing up a London derby versus Charlton next season

Scuffles broke out between players/management after game.
Originally thought it was for a racial comment but have found out the Beckenham manager decided to lump a sheerwater player.
Unsure to count a mature lady in the chap/chapess count as she wanted to get a bit lively with a sheerwater fan in the bar gave him a good volley of abuse.

Red Kites v The Freds. Entertaining game with both sides attacking at every opportunity. Thame are 7th and Wantage bottom. The difference showed in the number of good chances created. TU nice measured passing and wing play to create theres while WU tried to hit on the break. I was quite impressed with the standard. TU managed by ex-Wycombe striker Mark West. Hes been there 15 years so hes had plentry of time to establish a style of play.

TU should have scored more but WU keeper made some decent saves including a penalty.

Nice tidy modern facility with free parking. Enjoyed it and will probably make the effort to go again

Admission: £12 in advance

Cheese Burger £3.50 was given a big build up by stuff I'd seen online, but was very disappointing. Cheese wasn't melted, and I was left with a box full of grease, when I'd only got halfway through it, so gave up.

Parking was free in the John O'Gaunt School, which has two famous, or should that be Infamous ex pupils in Charlie Austin and Michael Ryan.

Not a lot that could be said about the game, as Hampton were dreadful.

Admission £14 in advance, saves queuing just go in the season ticket gate.

Att:795 (100 or so from Dorking, no real chaps) 4-5 Hampton, who are known as the angry brigade, who spent most of the second half in light hearted banter with ex Hampton keeper and Middlesex wicket keeper Dan Lincoln.

Dorking are by far the best team in the NLS and if they don't win it, whoever finishes above them will win the title.

Didn't sample the food, but I know already how good it is.

There is now a bar in the far corner of the ground (The Thirsty Beaver)

Hampton played well and probably deserved a point, but finishing is their problem.

Not necessarily ‘Non Brentford’ but following the trend of non league, I’m looking forward to Hanwell Town vs Brentford B’s tomorrow night in Greenford. I’m a fan of both and used to play for Hanwell Town youth until not too long ago, should be fun.

Chertsey OS 0 vs Dial Square 0

Crowd approx 60 chaps headcount 40

Dial Square are funded by Arsenal as their community club and all players are paid and up to £140 a week. Chertsey OS pay £5 subs a week. Dial Square are trying to do what AFC Wimbledon did and only formed last season and expect to race through the leagues.
They were second before todays game and expected to win handsomely and had the better individuals but a collection of mercenaries and whinging divas who tried to influence the ref on every decision and until he got sick of their moaning he sided with them as the higher profile side.

It was far better than 0-0 suggests and only got heated once when the Lino gave offside against Chertsey OS when the Dial Square centre back passed back to his keeper and it was intercepted. Flag went up and ref gave it and refused to change his mind despite yours truly and others reminding him it was a blatant back pass by the defender. Their inbred supporters told me to “f**k off it was a genuine mistake until I reminded them that it was one of their supporters running the line and he was “ a fat useless cheat” that he objected to.
Referee had to speak to some of the fans and threatened to stop it if arguing and abuse continued and probably his best decision of the game.
It then turned into a bit of a battle with lots of yellows and a 10 minute sin bin for a Chertsey player who questioned one of the many poor decisions too sarcastically. It suited Chertsey more than the posturing, moaning Dial Square who were big on threats but low on physical challenges preferring to throw themselves to the floor like Wolves players at Lionel Road last week.

By all accounts the draw has left the wealthy, paid team adrift in second and unlikely to catch the leaders that made the draw acceptable to COS.
