This table topping clash, kicks off early.
Due to the Sky TV coverage.

5.30pm KO

You have been warned.

Our first 20 games against Norwich saw 14 wins, from 1920 until 1931.
However we have only 1 win in our last 12 (from 2009)

3 wins (2 at Carrow Road) and 3 draws in last 11 league games since 2009 ?

Another job for Sam, I hope. Quite enjoyable watching his pugnacious observations. It's like being in a room with a boxer on the eve of a fight.

I've seen us win twice at Carrow Road since 2009.

I also saw the away team win regularly at Carrow Road when I was a student there so its not a fortress by any means!

Brilliant away day , would be absolute scenes next week
I'm staying with my daughter in Norfolk at the moment so I'm only 15 minutes on the train away from the ground which is even more frustrating.
I will go to the local Sainsbury' Wednesday morning to get my beer and try to kick it off with trolley blokes in the car park just to get me in the mood 🤣

I think we should club together and fund some fireworks, you could set off, during the game, over the stadium.
Once we beat Stoke of course

This game will be the moment where it all starts to come together again.

Look back at the unbeaten run. Many games there where we weren’t firing all cylinders. Then look at the quality of the performances against other top 6 clubs, particularly Watford (a), Reading (h), Bournemouth (h), Swansea (a), Reading (a).

This’ll be 2015/2017 Brentford at Carrow Road rather than 2016.

Maybe. Hope you're right, but the pressure is more on us than them. A win for them and they are out of sight. While I agree we rarely hit top form in that unbeaten run, I fear those points thrown away against Norwich at home, Watford and both Swansea games may cost us. We have to stop them scoring and that won't be easy. We could do with Pukki or Buendia getting crocked for a few games.

Lots of twists and turns but agree Norwich could be out of site if they win Wednesday. Hoping Bournemouth turnover Watford tomorrow and Bristol city get that new manager bounce and beat Swansea. Of course this will be great if we do our job against a tough Stoke outfit.

I think the ‘points thrown away’ evens itself out. This season I think for the first time in ages we’ve had a bit of luck of our side in some games. The Watford game as an example, they had a perfectly good goal ruled out and should have beaten us...

We tend only to see the failures of our own team, never the failures in our opponents.

We should have been leading at half time.

I'm not going to say it's not interesting to look back at previous results, but generally I can't seriously think it has any bearing on a current fixture.

That's what hardened (over the years) fans do!
We're hardened to being in the lower leagues and watching the 'real football' of the Premier League in TV.

As one who looks through the forums (fora?) of our next opposition, it does seem to be a common trait but we seem to take things to a different level. I can't recall seeing other fans noting how a quite frankly poor, shot-away team like Sheffield Wednesday looked quite good and how an over-aggressive tackle by one of our own players should have been a red card. No doubt there'll be a lot of admiration for how MO'N has got Stoke organised and Buendía's silky skills in the next few days.

Frustrating. We've had an awful lot of 7pm kick offs when I've finished at 8.
That day i finish earlier at 630 and they push the game even earlier to 530.
Peraonally, just for the sake of tv, 530 kick off is a massive kick in the teeth to those who are working still, not at home. I get some will be put out with regards to kick off times etc especially midweek but 530 is a massive taking the pee kick off time.

Hopefully tomorrow the result goes our way, will obviously be a very tough one for Wycombe though.

It has indeed become very big though.

The belief and confidence of the last two wins was so important going into Wednesday's game. I predict we will put in a Watford away first half and Swansea away performance.

I'd prefer 3pm midweek kick-offs, please
I start work at 5am, so the early kick-off means I could get a good nights sleep.

I have just noticed this is on Sky sports Action,
I only have the 2 football channels and when selected Sky sports action got a message saying I’m not subscribed.
Sky are taking liberties if they are now putting EFL games of NON football channels.

Ill try again tomorrow otherwise it will be I Follow for me followed up by a complaint to Sky

I got the impression about 2 weeks ago they thought '...Why aren't we showing this game!?' so panicked and added it to the schedule at the last minute on another channel. Was so odd them omitting it in the first selection of TV fixtures.

Sky dont often show 3 games on channels at the same time.
Burnley v Leicester on Main Event & P/L
Livingston v Rangers on Football
So our game on Action (407 for me)

Sadly a whole load of G Rangers fans who comfortably outnumber Bees fans.
Sky are unmercifully commercial in their decisions, which is quite understandable ☹

Unable to book day off, short notice. Other members of management have this week off.
And don't have Sky, so no Sky Go either.
Still doesn't take out the fact it's a ridiculous kick off time midweek.
My kids have their final online martial arts lesson before grading at 5.30 so I can’t be on the beer as usual but can slyly watch the game on my iPad and just nod and smile at the kids occasionally!
