I love Ollie, so it will be a real shame to spend next season hoping he doesn't score a single goal.
Dunno, he’s pretty much exactly what they need, and I think they will probably spend heavily again. They can’t get the signings as wrong as they did last time.

Seems a sensible lad can't see him joining Fulham for an up and down career, up this season and down next, He's being linked with every club except Brentford. At the end of the day there is a only a short of clubs who can afford him.and the sooner it gets sorted the better for everyone.

Surely one of the few teams that don't think their priority is signing a number 9 and yet they are going to sign him over Villa Palace and all the others??
They may well fancy bidding him but if they are outbidding all comers, they must have even more money to waste than two years ago.

I do personally have Fulham down as probable relegation candidates (them, WBA, Palace and Villa are my 4 biggest suspects), but he will no doubt improve them. Parker's lack of experience, while not being able to rely on individual players to win games anymore just means I can't really see where they'll get more points from to be clear of danger. I don't think they're doomed just...60% likely to go down. WBA similarly definitely won't shame themselves, but may just not be good enough.
I am in the camp of I don't care where he goes, if we get a good fee then we've got what we needed. It's no longer relevant which club he is at, just as it hasn't been for anyone else who's moved onto pastures new.

Another in agreement here. No one is denying it would not piss us off massively and their fans will be insufferable about it but if they put £25m on the table and were the only club to do so then he goes. The moment we lost the final we were going to be open to offers from any PL club and Ollie would not turn down a move if they become the only bid to meet the valuation just because it is Fulham (even it is to fight relegation).

I used to watch Brentford (division 4) one Saturday and Fulham (top tier) the other in my mid-teens. But Bees were and are my number one.
I'd take Fulham over Leeds every day of the week even after this season.

I don't really care that its Fulham. When a player leaves, they leave. I do think its an awful move for him, and he'll likely be back in the championship next season. If he's going to turn it down, it will be for that reason.

I must admit, I do care. I want to see all of our ex players do well and I took much more of an interest in Brighton last season because of Neal Maupay. Couldn't do the same for Fulham so would much rather he went elsewhere.

I thought I didn't care once they went and the club got the price wanted. But, I happily want Neal to score (even though I don't like Brighton), but wanted to see the Birmingham 3 fail and enjoyed it when they did. I want Tarks to be brilliant, but that's because I want him to have a big money move. I like to see the Sheffield defence do well for the same reason.
Regarding Olli, I would rather he stayed, despite me being a fan of Forss and excited by HD play. If he goes, as long as it's to a PL team, I am reasonably happy. The club is bigger than any player. If Olli chooses a suitor that is likely to come down, that's his choice. But I think he is going to get better and will be a handful for any defence, including ours.

Football is his career and moving to Fulham guarantees he can live like a king for the rest of his life without having to work passed whatever the length of contract they give them.
I would say he is making a good career choice..... better than working for the Council for sixty years listening to annoying ****s all day
