once he goes doesn't really matter where, as long as we get good money for him and a quality replacement..

Exclusive: #Fulhamfc are in talks to sign Ollie Watkins from #Brentfordfc
the more the merrier. Villa seem very keen so hopefully will up the price.. Can't see Fulham going the full 25m when they've already got Mitrovic....

Frankly not bothered where he goes as longs as we get our price and replace. Sign Ghoddos and I’d take Balogun from Arsenal who we can turn into our next 6 million dollar man so to speak .

Watkins to Fulham seems very plausible and would be a sickener. I don’t believe anyone who claims they wouldn’t mind.

I wouldn’t mind, it’s football, players come and go. Pay us what we want and we move on

I love Ollie, so it will be a real shame to spend next season hoping he doesn't score a single goal.

I think someone better will come in. Happy to take the money from anyone willing to pay it, but Ollie will be back in this division in a year if he goes there.

Dunno, he’s pretty much exactly what they need, and I think they will probably spend heavily again. They can’t get the signings as wrong as they did last time.

Ollie from a old Brentford Supporter please don’t go to Fulham it will only add salt into our wounds. If you must leave us anywhere but them even Villa would just about be acceptable

Seems a sensible lad can't see him joining Fulham for an up and down career, up this season and down next, He's being linked with every club except Brentford. At the end of the day there is a only a short of clubs who can afford him.and the sooner it gets sorted the better for everyone.

I do personally have Fulham down as probable relegation candidates (them, WBA, Palace and Villa are my 4 biggest suspects), but he will no doubt improve them. Parker's lack of experience, while not being able to rely on individual players to win games anymore just means I can't really see where they'll get more points from to be clear of danger. I don't think they're doomed just...60% likely to go down. WBA similarly definitely won't shame themselves, but may just not be good enough.

I am in the camp of I don't care where he goes, if we get a good fee then we've got what we needed. It's no longer relevant which club he is at, just as it hasn't been for anyone else who's moved onto pastures new.

Another in agreement here. No one is denying it would not piss us off massively and their fans will be insufferable about it but if they put £25m on the table and were the only club to do so then he goes. The moment we lost the final we were going to be open to offers from any PL club and Ollie would not turn down a move if they become the only bid to meet the valuation just because it is Fulham (even it is to fight relegation).

I genuinely can’t find any reason to dislike Fulham.
And I’m 47 so grew up with them as our most often faced local team.

Same but I’m being mugged off on Twitter around my suggestions it being more of a friendly rivalry. lol

I get QPR and others.

But Fulham? No firm. No real hatred. Fans mostly decent.

If the reports that Palace have agreed a deal with RaRa's for £19.5m for Eze are true then Ollie at £25m would be a steal!

I used to watch Brentford (division 4) one Saturday and Fulham (top tier) the other in my mid-teens. But Bees were and are my number one.

If any team pays £20m for Eze, good player though he is, then the world has actually gone mad.

This is a good sign for us. The market is picking up a bit. Chelsea are about to give Leicester a big wedge as well. The dominoes are starting to fall...

I don't really care that its Fulham. When a player leaves, they leave. I do think its an awful move for him, and he'll likely be back in the championship next season. If he's going to turn it down, it will be for that reason.

I must admit, I do care. I want to see all of our ex players do well and I took much more of an interest in Brighton last season because of Neal Maupay. Couldn't do the same for Fulham so would much rather he went elsewhere.

Got to live social media... Fulham linked with Watkins and in one easy step some fans are questioning whether Benham has ever put any of his money into the club or whether he is actually a fan!

Matthew will always be a NO 1 fan... will these people ever realise it... ( or we could always get the buckets out again ) to save the club...

Twitter is nothing if not predictable. No wonder Benham decided to swerve it.

I thought I didn't care once they went and the club got the price wanted. But, I happily want Neal to score (even though I don't like Brighton), but wanted to see the Birmingham 3 fail and enjoyed it when they did. I want Tarks to be brilliant, but that's because I want him to have a big money move. I like to see the Sheffield defence do well for the same reason.

Regarding Olli, I would rather he stayed, despite me being a fan of Forss and excited by HD play. If he goes, as long as it's to a PL team, I am reasonably happy. The club is bigger than any player. If Olli chooses a suitor that is likely to come down, that's his choice. But I think he is going to get better and will be a handful for any defence, including ours.

Gave up Twitter a while back.

Stupendously good decision for my blood pressure
I detest social media I'm "young" at 31, I left Facebook and I have a blank Twitter account just so I can search Brentford transfer gossip lol

Social media has so much to answer for, for how society and mental health is at the moment. Anyway off topic lol

Back to Watkins, this will roll on right to the end. As long as we have a replacement in before he goes I'm happy.

You would have to question his career choices if he went to Fulham.

Football is his career and moving to Fulham guarantees he can live like a king for the rest of his life without having to work passed whatever the length of contract they give them.

I would say he is making a good career choice..... better than working for the Council for sixty years listening to annoying ****s all day
