Seeing the Swansea v Brentford thread got me wondering. What is our lowest away attendance?

I remember going to 1st round League Cup away at Gay Meadow, where IIRC we won, Kevin Rapley definitely scored and may have got 2 or 3 goals. I also seem to remember there weren't many of us there that evening. Possibly under 100? I'm sure someone else will remember also being there, or someone out there will have the information to hand.

These are the lowest away attendances in total. You can guess that some would’ve seen fewer than 50 bees.

Paul, I know it wasn't recorded officially until more recent years, but I'm wondering if any of the statto's out there, might have any records of actual away fans at a particular match. It doesn't surprise me about the number of AMC matches in your list - I've been part of those small crowds on occasion. Purely me being intrigued!

We once played Hull midweek in April 1996 and I don’t think we had much more than 50 Bees.

I knew a chap called Martin Bartley who cadged a trip on the players’ coach to Hartlepool for a Boxing Day game in the late 1960s, so they can’t have been more than a handful supporting the Bees up there. I think Peter G did something similar around that time.

Taylor 2, Rapley 2, Bent 1 as I remember it, great night, some cracking goals

I remember going to Forest for a midweek LDV game and I’m sure there were just 52 of us.

I did used to work with an Orient fan who used to go to every match home and away. One midweek LDV or equivalent, they were away at the Vetch, and he was one of 24 Ooze there that night!

Putney 2 or 3 years ago 6k Bees!
Also Liverpool in the cup. 7k Bees when our average home gate that season was 5k!

That was a great game, Rapley and Taylor were brilliant that night!

We only took 47 to Brizzle Rovers in about 94, the night of the Dearden phantom whistle.

Did Andy Scott have a goal disallowed quite late on? I found myself about 5 rows ahead of my seat by the time I realised that it'd been disallowed.

There was a game at Workington late 60s when the supporters club ran a mini-bus for travelling Bees. I suspect it was midweek but no other details.

I once went to Rotherham in the eighties on my way back from a visit to Leeds. There was a choice of sitting or standing.I choose sitting and found myself the only person in the entire stand. Can't remember anything about the game but shouting at Bob Booker that he was offside.

I remember there being 84 of us at Blackpool in 2007 (I think?). Jo Kuffour scored 2 in 2 minutes and we'd just lost the previous 9 away games in a row. I remember it being 84 because the song "84 84 84" was sang to the tune of "here we go".

Nathan Abbey played a blinder that day, and I had the last laugh on a couple of my Blackpool supporting local mates. Good times.

We played Plymouth away twice midweek in the space of about a Month, Once in the League and once in the AMC, the rules of that competition meant that if we had won or drawn we would have gone down there again the following Month.

There weren't many at Home Park for the League game and even less for the AMC.

Wasnt that the game that was originally snowed off? we drove up and got a smashed windscreen on the way up-think we missed kick off due to that if I recall.

The League game was the Phantom Whistler game, Tamar replaced Dearden for the LDC game.

barrow away as one of the more recent ones ??? ;)
I remember parking up one of the side streets of barrow and there being a parade down the street to the ground full of Barrow fans, making a proper racket. We were to them like we are to Leeds ;) Joking, but I remember Seb Brown playing in goal after Hamer getting sent off i reckon, there weren't even an away area, just a place we had to stand haha

It was in fact Lloyd Anderson and his only game in first class football.

If I remember rightly that was the 2006/07 season and it was Forest's record lowest attendance, either in club history or since they entered the FL or something.
