Will have to be at home in Singapore, unless they open past 10pm again... but I’d say there’s 0.001% chance of that by the play offs sadly

At home in West Pymble with the junior B2B's... hoping for the best, preparing for the worst (again!) - last year I was told by the eldest that I "didn't care enough" as I shuffled him out the door to school after the final loss... oh the irony of trying to show them how to lose gracefully when it was the last thing I wanted to do.

Probably in lock down in Laos with no access to watch the games. Hope to be able to follow the games on this thread (if there is internet and no powercuts!)

I am preparing for the best . I am a true believer and I will be celebrating with coffee and brekky at either Brick Lane Espresso or Munch (assuming it has finally re-opened)

If/when we win it won’t be coffee being drunk!!

I didn’t realise there was another Bees fan locally!?

If Capital Craft Beer Academy are showing it I'll watch there, if not hope that I can find it on DSTV back at my apartment

We are everywhere! I usually have a coffee and brekky at West Pymble after the early morning games - like the Rotherham game which kicked off at 4:00am - not sure what time the play-off final is on but I will certainly be having champagne after we win and will be happy to celebrate with any Bees fans in Sydney....

One more Sydney Bee here - happy to catch up. Duke of Clarence is quite a nice pub (or "hotel" as they say here) down an alley in the CBD

Wow, never heard of this place, or even seen it as I've passed that address on many occasions. I'll have to look more closely next time. Hard to believe it has Pride on tap, though!
Just had a chat to somebody at The Duke - apparently the London Pride that is on tap at The Duke of Clarence is carbonated - not cask as you would get in the UK - so fizzy rather than flat but apparently the flavour is the same.... not sure what to make of that but happy to give it a try if any Bees fans want to meet up there. I have just picked up a case of 12 bottles from the Beer Cartel at Reserve Road, Artarmon.

I definitely think it should be tried! One day after work, if you work in/near the CBD?
Yes ! Tuesday next week would suit me - anytime after 5:00pm - not sure what situation is re Covid restrictions - it may be necessary to book or pre-register rather than just walk in (?) - let's see who else is up for a beer and once we know numbers we can check with pub.

At this moment in time pubs are shut. However, it is possible that they may re-open sometime around the middle of this month.
Plan to hopefully open outside seating from May 17th (for the first leg!). I reckon our usual spot will be fine, watch inside with no drinks, and then half-time tactical discussion outside with whatever you need to steady your nerves :)

Planning on the second leg for sure (first leg 50-50). Can't get any confirmation from the pubs yet because regulations are still being drawn up etc... I'll let you know.

Pubs have been closed over here since November, although restaurants open on Monday so think there is an outside chance of the boozers being able to reopen in time for the final should we be lucky enough to get there.

Of course I had to spend last years play off final getting patronised by several Leeds United fans, so it may not be a bad thing for them to stay shut.

That would be great, if there’s anywhere in Sydney it can be obtained!
A few places here in Melbourne have it.. most surprising was a local (ish.. 15 min drive) place out in Gisborne we go for dinner occasionally having London Pride and ESB on tab! No sports or TVs though...

Probably end up watching at home depending on the time the games are.

Sorry, next Tuesday is no good for me. Either of the following Tuesdays (18th or 25th) would be ok. Anyone else, @B2B ?

I'll do my best to join in, I've been in The Duke of Clarence (and had the Pride) previously, at $14 a pint it's a novelty for what it tastes like...!

The Duck Inn This place used to sell it also... not sure if it still does!

I'm kind of used to paying $10 for a schooner, so $14 for a pint doesn't seem so bad, if it tastes anything like the real thing!

"if it tastes anything like the real thing" the million dollar question - from memory it was okay but not exactly the same!

It still doesn't really feel like I qualify as an overseas Bee, but here I am over the Irish Sea in Waterford aka "The Sunny South East" as the locals and tourist board seem to like calling it 😁☀🇮🇪

So I'll be watching on via trusty NOW (formerly known at Now TV) with this view ⬇ through the window next to the telly. Win or lose I'll head out afterwards for a walk along the beach* to contemplate what lies ahead for us... 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🐝⚽

Beer Cartel is great from what I've heard!
Yes, Beer Cartel certainly stock an impressive range of UK and European beers. You can order online or just call in and pick up at their outlet in Artarmon - I believe they still have some bottles of London Pride left.
The last time I enjoyed a few pints of LP was at Griffin Park on 3 October 2019 when we drew 1-1 v Bristol City - looked like we had it won when Josh Dasilva put us ahead with about 30 mins left but Bristol City managed to equalise in the last 5 mins
Re having a beer at The Duke of Clarence or elsewhere with you and Edmundo - that would be good but I suppose much depends on the Covid restrictions which have obviously changed today after the two local cases in Sydney.

I'll be at home in West Palm Beach far away from boozy Oz
