Who didn't sleep very well last night? Me for one. I'm a poor sleeper anyway even with the amount of Morphine I take, but I just could not get comfortable nor that sleepy. I'm like a kid before Christmas. Lets hope the sleep coach did his job last night

I hope our lads slept well and our “ mentioned in every commentary “ sleep coach has proven their worth - me been struggling to sleep for ages and last no different after WBA match.

Slept well, dreaming of having similar celebrations to the Leeds fans who sounded like they were having a great night!

Some bastard had a bonfire going so we had to close the doors downstairs. We forgot to close upstairs so when we went to bed the whole house stank of smoke.

I couldn’t handle it slept in the spare room, had my usual 4.15 wake up but I usually drop off again after 10 mins, last night the stomach started churning and I was awake until 6. Just woke up 20 mins ago.

I avoided the problem by going to sleep 30 minutes before kick-off and waking up to find the result in the morning. Today has been a very long day, though, I can tell you!

Spent the day cycling on North Kent coast so pretty knackered anyway. 4 cans, cold shower at 22.30 to cool down. Fan on in bedroom. Slept like a log. Up at 6.45. Neighbour's shopping completed by 8.00. Dog walked. About to mow lawn. Everything must be completed by 11.00 to clear the decks for total focus on beer and football. I will probably build pie and chips into the routine as well.

Up, cleared up from the mess last night. Washing on, now on the line. Hoovered, cleaned the bins, even cleaned some windows. Walked the dog, again. Poor mut, legs will be worn away soon.

And yet it’s still not even 9 am. Going to be a long, long morning.

Going to cut the lawn at 10, just not to upset the neighbours. Any other job suggestions very welcome ;)

Old Malden, actually......
Normally if I wake up at 8 am on a Saturday morning I just turn over and go back to sleep again. Not today. And to think that before the restart I told anybody who would listen that I had no interest or enthusiasm for football in a pandemic or behind closed doors matches .....

Not nervous pre game.

I’ll be nervous during the game!

Slept well. Am excited.

Just worried about that first goal. We can have all the excitement in the world but we need to turn up and perform.

Yes I’m a glass half empty chap lol

I'm bricking it! The thing that makes me most nervous is the fact I watch these games with the most glass half empty person imaginable and he's difficult to avoid.

Slept well last night after long, hard day at work, but this hadn't really sunk in.

Thee moment was playing on my phone half asleep this morning and reading we are now 7/1 on to get promoted (7/2 on automatic)

No sleep at all... Up at 1 and 4.

Have always beelived, always, but the nervous anticipation is starting to set in. Stoke are an underperforming side and pose a real threat.

I'm calm right now.
Good(ish) night sleep...
Confident. Ask me again, though, at 130 when I start work and can't watch 2nd half.

Despite my often mental facade there is actually a very sensible side to me. It is that side that has woken up this morning. Perspective people. Remember, we are in third spot, a point behind West Brom. We are excited because we have a golden opportunity, not because we have won anything. There is a long way to go and much work to do. Stay calm all. Not time to get carried away yet. ;)

Did not sleep well also. I could not watch the Huddersfield game as my nerves cant take it. My wife hates football and does not understand what all the fuss is about.

Got a grand total of 3 hours sleep following the WBA game and then straight into work. Currently hitting 40degrees heat, just finished my shift and now in my room awaiting the building up starting on BFBS! Cannot wait, despite the lack of sleep! Bring IT ON! #BEElieve

Woke up early. Couldn't get back to sleep. Something felt different this time. I thought we would get 1 point but who knows maybe 3. Kept thinking about the prize. I have learned my lesson.

Slept well last night but it helps when you have drank 2 bottles of Argentine Red. On the Vodka tonight after already having 3 sambuca shots. Will sleep well again.

Didn’t sleep at all, woke up at 6 and had to get up. Then this morning I was like a zombie just not with it. Exactly the same feeling as pre-Donny......and unfortunately now exactly the same feeling post that game also.

Can Brentford win one big game in my lifetime
What makes it worse is that we got so near the finishing line with that terrific run. You could argue that the last 4 or 5 games have all been 'big' games, as losing any of them would have put us out of the race realistically. However, when it game to the first of the two biggest games, the pressure was too much.

Oh for a crystal ball. If we'd dropped points earlier in the run, it would have been far easier a decision for Thomas to make to rotate the squad much more, leaving our best players fresh for a tilt at the play offs. I am not at all optimistic of a QPR miracle on Wednesday and am also not holding out much hope of winning the play offs, given how tired (and probably deflated) our best players are. I still think our best chance is to beat Barnsley and for QPR to score a couple of goals on Weds - I think that's more likely than playing well for another 3 games, most likely against Forest somewhere along the line.

I keep telling myself what a fantastic achievement it will have been to finish in the top 4, to still have a chance of going up on the last day of the season, that the current players and management aren't tainted by our previous p/o experiences, that we have the best front line in the league and even that if we don't make it, the money generated from some players sales will be well spent. These are all true, real things. But somehow at the moment, it doesn't compensate for yesterday. I just hope that the players and management at BFC are all in a much better frame of mind than me and the majority on here. They need to be!
