Has anyone purchased the hardcover version of the sticker album? Have to say at £25 that’s a real rip off .
No but I've had the hardback version for the international albums for world cup 2014, 2018 and euro 2020 . They were only a tenner though.

PL 2021 hardback was £20 I think. It comes with a slipcase (unlike the world cup albums) but I think this is potentially worse as I was told the 2021 edition hard to fit the album in when it's got 600 stickers inside the album!! Though hopefully that design flaw may have been fixed by now. I'll be sticking to softback.

Maybe people will share swap lists on here? You can just stick them in the post of course.
I have arranged swaps on laststicker.com too it's been good for finishing older albums.

A complete list of stickers here Swap stickers, checklist and photos for album Panini English Premier League 2021-2022 - laststicker.com

I haven't got the album yet but normally there are 48 spaces in the back for new signings across the league. Sometimes these get bolstered by other squad players if there aren't enough new signings.

You can buy these in a pack in April/May time for £8-10.
I don't think these ever appear in sticker packs you just order them from Panini if you want them. Or buy them on eBay if you really only want the Brentford stickers.
These should be the only extras needed for a complete collection.

By the way the only player that has played for us in the PL so far that isn't in the album is Dominic Thompson so if we make no permanent signings this month, he and Lossl may appear as "update" stickers. Likewise Josh Dasilva of course.

Do they deliberately make it difficult to know exactly how to stick some of the stickers in?

Out of curiosity has anybody completed any of the teams (not using eBay) . For some reason I have completed Norwich City . I am about 2 thirds complete with the Brentford team . Also has anybody pulled out any of the legends yet? I haven’t seen any of them come out after opening around. 40 packs . Are the legends in the regular packs?

Are you referring to the panini cards or the stickers?

I got Henry and Zola in the regular packs. About 50 packs so far and my doubles are listed above. Not completed any team yet.

Ive also got a Zola. Need to get round to opening the packets I’ve bought and sticking them all in. Had more spare time as a kid, but then again I didn’t have a credit card when I was 7, so swings and roundabouts.

Which are better? Have I backed the wrong horse? Started the “2021/22” card ones with a binder thing. Now Football’85 style actual stickers are out with Ivan Toney on the front. Both made by panini tho. Bit odd isn’t it, wagwan?!?

Most corner shops near me don’t seem to have them (or didn’t last week). So far Sainsbury’s and Martin’s are the places I’ve found them stocked
WH SMITHS in Lewisham has plenty.

I have done the panini cards one as well but I have just ordered the hard back book for the stickers and a few packets of them as well. Cards are good but I’m an old school sticker guy and I can’t resist it as the very first album I did was the Mexico’86 World Cup! One year they did a Championship equivalent one but in that addition each sticker had 2 of our players on it rather than the one sticker per player.

I get the impression that cards are for the younger generation, stickers are for the legacy generation used to those. Cards are easier to trade etc so may be better for their objective.

I have bought but had to buy the sticker album online. I know a couple of others who are getting involved (a long standing deal with a Newcastle fan that if we were both in The Prem at the same time that we'd do it). Will probably buy a big pack of stickers online and open 1-2 packs a day.

Book finished, was way over the top price wise but went for the hard cover, which to be fair is excellent and stays flat even with 600 plus stickers. I bought a box of 150 packs from panini with the book which I think was 90 quid as i just couldnt be bothered hunting and swapping and fortunately the books complete. Happy days

Good news about the hardcover as I have that too and was worried about earlier reports. It does feel like when you stick in the middle pages with players close to the centre that pages might fall out though so I'm being ultra careful

I still suck at getting stickers completely on the box though 😂 :judge:

Didn't want the 'fun' of swapping, just wanted to get it completed. And it looks great :) as it happens, I did this once before (buying a box) and did have to do loads of swaps that time around, but i'm glad it's done with no fuss :owusu:

Yeah i was pleasantly surprised, did this once before and still needed loads. Book looks good, especially with the hard cover. As I said before, way too expensive BUT had to do it with us in it.
Nice one. Same for me, wouldn't have bothered otherwise.
I'll still keep buying packs and hopefully get down to the swap meet. Don't really want to cheat and buy on ebay

I was wondering this as well and was trying to work out the maths. I'm sure when a friend of mine has done these stickers in the past he's had to buy a hell of a lot more than 750 without doing swaps. There's obviously a 1:1 chance of the first sticker you get not being a double, then there is a 748/749 chance of the next one, then a 747/748, then 746/747 etc which extrapolating would give you a 748!/749! chance of completing the set from 750 stickers, which is the same as 1/749. Is that right? Probably not.

I may need to get out more.

I nearly did. Just need Tyrick Mitchell. The academy has come back to haunt me.

I’m about five players short of completing the book from the 150 pack that I bought, too. I reckon those multi packs are designed that way…. Too much of a coincidence otherwise.

From what I've read, if you buy a sealed box of 150 packs, the distribution of stickers is not completely random between every single pack so you will get a more helpful selection than you would if you bought 10 packs in 15 different shops for example.

I bought the Euro 2020 preview edition - I got 170 packs in a box for a bargain price, and the first 120 packs I opened (600 stickers) covered 566 of the 568 different stickers needed - pretty sure that is more than just luck.
