looks really promising from those clips.. Love the way we're clearly looking at getting more flair players in the squad!

Looks an absolute steal. Mourinho not known for his faith in young players so I wonder if thats a factor as well.

I suspect Spurs would be more into the sell-on clause than Charlton. Their cognoscenti had extremely high hopes for him a year ago.

"Technically excellent, has lots of potential, needs to do more without the ball.
Your not buying the finished player still needs development"

From someone i know who works at Palace, knew him when previously working for the FA.

Sounds promising!

His style of play reminds me of that of Dru Yearwood

His interview is an interesting one. Eludes to the draw backs of premiership academy life and what a B team set up could do for him.

Sorry no link

This signing reminds me very much of Da Silva signing - a player with high potential that is at a club where realistically the pathway to first team football is very limited and in the case of Spurs whom have a manager now that has always been reluctant to play young players.

Looking forward to see how Paris progresses with us. Spurs fans that watch youth football have always been impressed with him.

If we go up it’ll be interesting to see whether the B team can itself step up a level to remain a good path to the first team. I suspect more will get strategic loans out as the quality needed will make it harder to recruit over bids from Championship clubs offering first team chances.

Is Paris more likely to be tempted towards the England set-up or DR Congo, and future involvement with the Africa Cup of Nations :)eek:)?

I don't necessarily agree that promotion would be detrimental to B-Team - quite the opposite, you get a closer chance at EPL gametime. Play well for the B-Team, hope for a break in first team, you have your chance. Match time against Arsenal better than 2-3 games against Barnsley, Wycombe or QPR.

Looking forward to seeing this player this season. One to keep your eye on I reckon. When Da Silva goes, this kid could eventually fill his boots (or maybe the boots of Josh's successor!).

Like the look of him and seems to be very confident on the ball with a decent range of passing.

Thought he stood out and did well particularly given it is not a team that has been together long to benefit from his obvious range of passing skills.

Called up to the England under 20's
Great news.

I've been impressed with him every time I've watched him play.

Looking forward to seeing him break into the 1st team later on in the season.
