There are some competitive prices on ‘Your Parking Space’ app, but you have to walk much further, and prices will change as the season nears.

Might work in the summer but in the winter it would turn into a mudbath unless there is substantial preparation work...and then it becomes either costly to do for every match or unusable at all times.

The planning permission was granted based on a significant proportion of fans travelling by public transport or arriving under their own power. It made mention of how much parking would be provided and sadly I dont think turning the local park over to parking was part of it.

Has anyone booked parking at the old Citroen showroom on Capital interchange way. Went through the booking process and was told a confirmation email would be sent. That was 3 hours ago and no confirmation. Bit strange that very few details apart from email address and card no. requested.

Did it not ask for your car reg number, when I used them for the Derby and Bournemouth game I’m sure they took my car reg when I booked online.

Yes, I booked a couple of days ago, have had a confirmation e-Mail fairly straightway. Also one to “create an account”, did you create an account, if so, log in to it and that may help. Also view your bank transactions. I did have a blip with their site crashing but all ok eventually.

I note that there is now parking for Arsenal available at Chiswick Park for 12.50 - don't remember seeing that when I booked at Citreon (...and I also received confirmation immediately WR). It seems to be for some but not for others e.g. Leicester and Everton but not other matches

The number of hearts I assume denotes thee number of car parks for the game...

Told me it was ‘sold out’ yesterday. Not that I’d pay £15. Will park for free a few miles out and cycle in.

There is bike parking at the stadium...by the steps in NW corner. I assume TB would park there.
I will. Apparently 300 spaces. I trust that stewards will allow me in to the stadium with a cycle helmet and pump??

For fans trying to decide where to park avoid Lionel Road North along side Carville and Gunnersbury parks just walked through at least 2 cars with windows smashed, this is a well known spot for vehicle break ins.

Ive heard this before so wtf are the Police doing about it?
I seriously hope the club parking in the school has people there throughout the match keeping an eye on things.

It was reported the last season we were at Griffin Park that the police had stepped-up patrols in this area. They've obviously forgotten that crowds go to football by this time.

You'd think it would be an easy result for them.. Just lie in wait for the muppets to show up.

Now that The Ham is no longer a parking option, Lionel Road North has got to be number one on the MPS match parking patrol, particularly evenings.

Will the club be notified of this so that something is done about it?

It's a policing issue and you'd hope that those who had cars broken into will have reported it. I'm sure the Club has regular briefings with the local plod, so it is something that BIAS ought to bringing to their attention @hobbsy?

We are well overdue a direct meeting with PC Hero so I'll try and set something up with him too.

Just been looking through the list of changed dates/times of matches and wonder if anyone has had any word from Brentfordparking.com about how this affects bookings. Eg. I’ve booked for the Leicester game on its original date.

I asked the question of them a few weeks ago about what would happen and they just said that ‘all games will be going ahead’. 🙄

It won’t affect your booking.

Go down Chiswick High Road towards Hammersmith and it's on the left fairly soon after what was the John Bull but I think is now called the Gunnersbury.

A reply to a well known supporter to a query re the CPZ’s…..

WARNING. To anyone considering parking near the old ground and walking the mile to the new one, it seems money-grabbing Hounslow Council have other ideas as per the response I received below.

Thank you for your enquiry,

I can confirm the existing “Saturday event day” controls between 2.30-3.30pm and Friday night 6-8pm will continue to operate in the BRS CPZ area when football matches are played on at the new stadium. The controls will not operate when rugby events take place on Saturdays although this may be subject to review at a later date dependant on feedback received from residents.

Absolutely disgusted by the hounslow council, and the club about the lack of parking on match days in Brentford. The council as far as I’m concerned have done everything in their power to make it almost impossible to park in the area. Surely they all saw this coming as the club got promoted to the premiership. Making arrangements for company’s to charge 12quid. To park for a few hours is a disgrace. Some of us have no choice to drive up, because of the kick off times, thanks to sky sports that run the premiership. Get a grip Brentford , and the council. And stop taking the piss out of the fans that have put money in the community for decades. It is hypocrisy that the council and the club pride itself on being a community club, when its followers are finding it almost impossible to get intro the town to park. i hope other fans agree on this and perhaps set up a petition, and take this matter through the media, t o show that the club and council just do not give a toss.
many of us bees fans live miles away, and can only get there by car,we hasve no choice by getting home by national rail due to late night finishes. Do the right thing and help take the pressure of us fans that only try and support the club. Sorry if this is in the wrong thread , i feel bloody angry about this, do something about it for Christ’s sake.

The local council certainly do not give a toss as you do not have a vote. Local Residents have a vote and they want to park outside their house.

So a petition is unlikely to hold much sway with the LBH in this instance.
