Despite him being a hate figure for many, I've always been ambivalent about the self-styled 'Guvnor'.

Recently though he's started to wind me up, and I'm convinced he talks absolute b******s.

Reading the League Paper today about their gubbing at home to Saints, I noticed his comment "I thought the result was unjustified, looking at the stats they probably had 4 shots to our 9". Straight away I thought, "I bet that's factually incorrect" Lo and behold looking at the BBC Football site.....

Possession

* MK Dons 42%
* Southampton 58%

Attempts on target

* MK Dons 7
* Southampton 6

Attempts off target

* MK Dons 3
* Southampton 4

Corners

* MK Dons 7
* Southampton 9

Thanks, just wanted to get that off my chest.

He was probably talking about bookings, a lot of which he seems to regard as some sort of measure of success.

Can't stand the bloke.
He behaves like a spoilt bratt, niggly little character.
I cheer everytime that fake club loses.
They aint gonna make the play offs and I hope they get relegated next season.

Horrible little man

thats rich!

i don't hate him. i hate enough people already. although he did miss that penalty for England in a world cup/euro shootout. i enjoyed that "southend fan" punching him outside wembley once too. also i know someone who speaks exactly the same as him. well done ince.

I felt sorry for Wlbra"cheatingkuunt"him when he appeared to not agree with the award of the penalty for Southampton. A horrible manager and team, I fear that I will need to drink far too much when we play them at MK next season.:(

We have a good chance of finishing higher than them in the league this season - what a turnaround from earlier form!!!

Do you remember when we were still worried about the relegation zone, seems like it was only a few weeks ago!!

Was saying this yesterday, finishing in the top 10 AND ahead of a team with their budget would be great for the club and perhaps get some floating fans more likely to come back next season

Nine yellow cards yesterday(including two for Wilbrahim) is a shocking disciplinary record.

In the paper at the weekend it said they had 124 yellow cards this season, the next in the list were Colchester on just 76!!! And Ince was saying they are not a dirty team!!

After reading their supporters website he does not seem to have been flavour of the month with their supporters prior to his resignation.

Failure to attend fans forums,constantly berating officials and opposition grounds and not achieving the play off's have been key factors.

I thought their tactics at GP a few weeks ago were awful,they seemed intent on just spoiling the game and it is little wonder they have the worst disciplinary record in our division.

I can see Mr Ince opting for the comfort of a warm studio as a pundit from now on.Living on previous glories as an England player i would imagine.

Arrogance can only get you so far Mr Ince and with your huge budget we still took 4 points off you this season :wave:

Possibly, but I initially thought fair play to him for taking the Macc job and trying to work his way up, which was the way it used to be, until ex pros like Robson, Southgate etc just started walking into to high profile(ish) jobs and spunking money left right and centre.

He did well at Macc considering where they were when he took over, and the budget that he had. In his first spell at MK yes he had a big budget considering the rest of the league, but that in itself isn't enough, and they looked a class above when promoted. The move to Blackburn was too much too soon, but he wasn't an abject failure there.

I reckon he's still young and ambitious enough to have another go somewhere, and he's shown he's not afraid to get his hands dirty, as he'll probably need to lower his sights next time around.

Compare our budget this season to their's and who do you think has been the bigger achiever Andy or Ince :shrug:

Pete Winkelman said on Sky that he is only reverting his budget back to what Di Matteo had so he still plenty of resources to work with.

I don't want to see any up and coming manager fail and you made a valid point about him getting his hands dirty at Macclesfield however i don't think he will be swamped with offers.

Scotty by a country mile.

Agreed, and Di Matteo made the might move to a club in the right division, admittedly with the pressure that expected promotion brings.

No nor do I, and his reputation will start to make him look a bit 'difficult', he's still a name though and that could be a temptation for any chairman looking for exposure for an under-performing club if Ince is willing to compromise.

Fascinated to see if MK Dons this season hold the record for most ill-disciplined team. 124 yellows is insane if you compare it to Crewe's 31!

Heard that with suspensions the players at MKD have lost 20 games due to suspension.

Then Ince moans about the supporters (fair enough!) but you should never do that. And seems to moan about everything, lack of money, poor away facilities, doesnt attend fan forums.

I bet you anything he will start bleating on about lack of opportunities for black managers in the game, which i dont think is true anyway. Well he has hardly done much for the cause at MKD!

I see they kept up their bad discipline today ... 3 red cards lol

The first one looks soft, but the other 2 were nailed on and the last one in particular (Leven) was very nasty.

Hope he's proud. 3 red cards in a game is appauling unless Atwell is reffing.

First time for a long time I have seen a team collect more reds in a game than yellows.

Made me laugh they had the cheek to protest all of them, the second was always going to be red once the pen had been given and as has been said the last one was just plain vicious.

The way they are going they will have less subs than us next week

I heard they'd only appealed the (debatable) first one. :confused:
