Brice Samba (Nottingham Forest), Luke Ayling, Ben White, Liam Cooper (all Leeds), Joe Bryan (Fulham), Eberechi Eze (QPR), Kalvin Phillips (Leeds), Romaine Sawyers (West Brom), Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham), Ollie Watkins, Said Benrahma (both Brentford).

A bit surprised Romaine it, I thought he had an average end to the season.

Ivan Toney made the League 1 team.

TBH I honestly thought Raya would have made the team too along with Pinnock, Dasilva, Norgaard and Henry but Im probably being Greedy I suppose we should doff our caps after all we are only "tinpot Brentford"

Plus Leeds actually went up so the defence is probably fair, and their keeper didn't have a forgetful moment in the playoff final!

How long did Brice Samba hold up this announcement?

QPR. Check out Who Scored......
Yeah, thanks Paul. I knew who it was but I'm amazed that he'd be ranked anywhere close to Rico, let alone above him, by anybody other than his Mum.

If you’re playing in a team regularly under the cosh it is easier to stack up positive defensive contributions than in one that isn’t. Rico is excellent but how many times can you remember him having to put in a last ditch saving tackle or booting it into row Z?

Look at the stats. A few LB’s are rated better than Rico. Bryan, Robinson and Manning to name three.
I think it's a little biased towards attacking full backs. Rico is the best of that lot (along with Robinson maybe).

Maybe they felt obliged to include at least one player from WBA?
The team is voted for by the players, usually around Jan or Feb (? Maybe @rebus would know when?). It’s not chosen on stats..... Maybe Romaine had a good start but tailed off towards the end?
