No we don't
We are paid for a minimum of 10 games regardless of picks

The Minimum picks are in your wiki post

The Quotas do NOT include Amazon and BT midweeks as we are shown on all four of those

I meant the weekend quota picks..
Are you sure? Just that when I counted up previous seasons the minimum was 10 shows including Amazon and midweeks

Call this a hunch and am happy to defer to Judio's knowledge and permutations but I reckon there is a fair chance of Leeds away in December being played on Sunday or Monday. Reason
  • That game is the weekend before the sixth and final round of CL group games
  • There seems to have been an understanding the last few years that teams involved in the CL (Tuesday or Wednesday) do not generally play on the Sunday or Monday beforehand. This year actually 2 teams have done Sunday - Wednesday (City and Liverpool once each) out of the 10 times these very popular TV sides could have been moved to those popular TV slots before a Wednesday fixture, but it seems to be avoided and I imagine they would avoid it especially before the crucial final round.
  • That weekend all of the four CL teams and indeed all of the super league six and Leicester are kept apart in fixtures.
  • Therefore if my theory about the pre-CL scheduling holds at least two of these games will be televised on Sunday or Monday
    • Villa v Leicester
    • Everton v Arsenal
    • Leeds v Brentford
    • Newcastle v Burnley
    • Southampton v Brighton
    • Spurs v Norwich
Not a lot going on their glamour wise and reckon we stand as good a chance as anyone.
  • We've only had one Sunday TV pick so far.
Just my two pence worth. I had thought after seeing the price of Newcastle trains I might take a punt on Leeds trains now but I think I might hold fire.

What’s the maximum?
Don’t worry, they’ll be falling all over us soon enough.
Tried to follow the intricacies of today’s posts, but then I don’t have subscription football, and gave up!
There are maximums for each package - it's out there on the internet. Haven't bothered with it as, er, it probably won't impact us....

It's high. I remember reading in one recent normal (pre covid) season Liverpool were on 28 times out of 38.
It's fair to say we won't be on anywhere near that often no matter how we get on on the pitch. The TV like the big clubs!

Thanks.
Wasn't every game televised in 20/21? ...What with the lack of crowds. Was there a distinction between real TV games and extra TV games even throughout this season?

Please no, I pulled the trigger and have a return to Sheffield booked was planning to go to Leeds from there as no direct trains were available.
I have a feeling you will be correct on this

I'm frequently incorrect so forgive my speculation
Maybe TV will just lap up the ones with the most fans and long term PL interest ie Everton v Arsenal and Villa v Leicester.
Or you could go and watch Harrogate in the FA Cup instead if the stars align....
Allegedly only two and a half weeks before we find out December's picks anyway.

Excuse me if the question has already been answered elsewhere but why is the WHU game at 2pm on Sunday and not on tv?

If you look in first post I have put in brackets the reasons for movement

You will also see Leicester at home has been moved for same reason

And looking at the December games the Brentford v Man United game could be on the Tuesday on BT , leaving a very small chance of the Watford game being picked for Friday night on Sky..... (As they cant have a Monday night and that midweek ending Friday is a UEFA week)
11-Dec-21 Arsenal v Southampton
11-Dec-21 Brentford v Watford
11-Dec-21 Crystal Palace v Everton

11-Dec-21 Chelsea v Leeds
11-Dec-21 Liverpool v Aston Villa
11-Dec-21 Man City v Wolves
11-Dec-21 Norwich v Man Utd
12-Dec-21 Leicester v Newcastle
12-Dec-21 Brighton v Spurs
12-Dec-21 Burnley v West Ham

15-Dec-21 Brentford v Man Utd
15-Dec-21 Crystal Palace v Southampton
15-Dec-21 Man City v Leeds (will have to be Weds if Leeds are picked on Sunday before)
15-Dec-21 Norwich v Aston Villa

16-Dec-21 Arsenal v West Ham
16-Dec-21 Leicester v Spurs
16-Dec-21 Liverpool v Newcastle
16-Dec-21 Brighton v Wolves
16-Dec-21 Burnley v Watford

??-???-22 Chelsea v Everton

Another month. Another delay. Grinds my gears that the Premier League aren’t answerable to anyone, especially not the fan trying to plan Christmas.
Haven't you heard?

They don't celebrate Christmas in Saudi Arabia...

If sky don’t pick our home game against Man Utd ,can it still be changed by Amazon or bt
The announcements are from all broadcasters not just Sky

All midweek matches can be either
Tues
Weds
Thurs

Tues will have 2 kick off times
Weds will have maybe 3
The Thurs game will have a unique time

Amazon have all of the two rounds

Nov 30 midweek Spurs away
Dec 28 matches Man C home

BT have rights to 15 of the midweek matches in these 2 weeks
Dec 15th Man U home
Feb 8th Man C away

Sky will have NONE of these matches

It really depends on BT Sport
If they pick Ars v Man C ( they can have it as Che v Liv will be Skys first pick ) on Sat Jan 1st at 1230

Then Man C at Brentford will likely be on the Tuesday

But if BT show it at a different time when everyone is not hungover

Then we could be on Weds or Thurs v Man C

Dont forget Jan 3rd is a Holiday so the Jan 1st games can be spread out

Minutes have to be agreed, which they were yesterday.
Fine. it wasn’t the timing of their release, but the content.

The point of the matter is that the Premier League committed to hitting the deadline for announcing televised matches and better communication of there was an unavoidable delay. Failed on both. They committed to these two weeks ago.

Would be a lot easier if they would just bloody announce the games as they said they would, then we can all get on with making Christmas plans, booking in work/annual leave and buying train tickets. There’s no reason for it to take this long at this stage of the season.

Journey planner is showing trains from Lewes to Brighton and Brighton to Falmer.

It might not have been updated yet for Southern but it does show that SWR are not running any services from Waterloo

Sorry should've quoted @horshambees

I hope not tbh, but who knows.
Amex on a boxing day will be crap getting in and out unless there are trains between Lewes and Brighton.
City at home is me birthday and I am planning on eating cake while we beat them.
Not Victoria sponge, I trust!
