Listening to Talksport in the first place suggests that you might already have caught stupid!

Yes, normally I would agree but I wake up in the middle of the night a lot. Paul Ross has that shift and is good. The guy on Radio five at the same time does my head in and also seems to attract old ladies and drunks who phone in. Hence its tuned to that when I put radio on at normal time.

You’re referring to ‘dribbling’ Dotun Adebayo. Also does/did Brief Lives. Whilst I’m neither a drunk nor an old lady, I find they’re excellent on R5 to fall asleep to.

I was listening to our match on Radio 5 Live. The main commentator was having a mare. He confused Vitaly for Rico, Ings for David Luiz, called Jensen Janson and referred to Blackburn being down to 9 men when Morsey got sent off - Morsey plays for Boro!

Who was the interviewer after England v Andorra?

To Saka,

“well, after what happened down that end in the last game how did that feel”

“ it must have felt good after what happened in the last game”

“how do you feel about scoring in the end that was so sad the last time you played”

“it ended so badly the last time so to come away after what happened last time”

FFS man, nobody cares anymore, we are moving on you won’t get your soundbite there.

Gareth comes out to be interviewed and here we go again,

“So how good was it for Saka to score in the end that was so disappointing 5 weeks ago” etc etc etc

Commentator on England game today saying that Kane had scored 10 out of 13 penalties for England, then 'never any doubt' after he'd scored. Doesn't seem to be too hot on probability theory.

Matterface is useless, not forgotten his awful Euro semi final pre match “It’s going be a tough journey, strap yourself in, expect turbulence “
and at the end “Let the kids stay up, remember where you were, “. He’s just dreadful

He’s drunk. Sad to see.
I've wondered that for a while.

Sounds like slurred speech but perhaps he's had some sort of mini stroke or something.

He missed a red card at the Bradford game on Sat to play right into his Sat afternoon sky persona but I do wonder how they can speak to the camera & watch the game at the same time!

Doesn't seem well but perhaps it's not drink

Sorry cant work out how to start a new thread so will start this here. I hate, I mean hate, the new way league tables are being presented. Points total on the left! No! They should be on the far right after all the other known data. Who suddenly changed it? Why?

On the ITV coverage yesterday, the tables they used had "Points" as the first column on the left.....
If that was the case, it just illustrates what ITV know about football...

It's not, it's his illness.

Good article from Australia about Lloyd Owusu and the connection he maintains with the club.

But it's worth its inclusion on this thread for the contribution by Don Hutchison (sic):

“I’ve got to eat humble pie… I must admit I had Brentford going down,” former Liverpool midfielder Don Hutchinson said on Weekend Review on Optus Sport.

“I watched them a lot last season and I thought, can they (survive) because they’re not really a footballing side, they don’t dominate, can they go long ball in the Premier League and go a bit old school? I thought the league was too strong for them.

Obviously not!

I normally tend to think we over react to pundits who makes comments on us.

But that is ridiculous. We played the best football in the championship for at least 2 seasons if not more.

Plus we dominated possesion week in week out. I think hes trying to cover his arse and made it look even worse.

Name any pundit who watched us over the last few season who didn't say our football was fantastic. The problem was we were too soft at times.

Just listened to a bit of 606 and Chris Sutton stands by his prediction that we will be relegated. Complete and utter self opionated tool. Robbie Savage has us in 15th place BTW.

Savage seems to have erased the fact that he tipped all 3 promoted teams to go down from his memory
