Yep, including myself there's 4 that I know are all booked up and a few more plan on doing it.
We're going to be based in Dortmund, probably Airbnb it as it will be cheaper.

Sitting in Majorca thinking about my next trip, maybe I should do this one? Was thinking of training it via Netherlands, any tips?
Flights to Weeze are really cheap, that's near the border of Germany and Holland, about 90km from Dortmund I think.

Alternatively go via Bruges or anywhere else in Belgium or that corner of Germany worth stopping off for a beer or five on the way through... :beer:

That was an issue last season. The training methods were a little different. I'm sure that this season, the players will be ready when the Championship kicks off.

Gutted to be told on Friday 'don't spend any more time on the Düsseldorf team as they won't be around much longer'. I did tell my boss he has buggered up my social plans! At which point he told me he was sorting a trip to Paris, a moment of joy dashed by him then saying 'after the Euros of course because I'm not going if there is a chance of those bloody nutters blowing is up'. Alan Pardew loving Tintin look alike, what a d1ck, that's my rant over so have a great time if you do go........

Yep, Eurowings from Terminal 2. englANDbee has provided the train times and link. I think there's at least 9 of us on those trains now.
6 of us are in a hotel very close to the main Dusseldorf station too

Out on BA flight 10:45 Tuesday, night in Dusseldorf, train to Dulmen lunchtime on Wednesday. Staying in Dulmen Wednesday, back to Dusseldorf Thursday, back at Heathrow about 17 30, love it

Normally the higher placed team plays away. How comes we're at home to 2 teams below us (yes I know Millwall is Tony Craig testimonial but he is at Millwall isn't he?)?

I suspect that we tried to arrange a home friendly with a few Premiership clubs without success as for Millwall - we are away and not at home

I did think the same thing in terms of our pre season opponents. We're not playing anyone of serious quality, Milwall and Peterbrough are about as high as it gets UK wise. Last year we had Norwich and Stoke.
I agree that the lateish announcement of the Pererbrough game meant we probably failed our other targets. Hopefully it won't be detrimental.

We did. And we played away at Millwall when they were a division higher about 15 years ago.
Even so, custom dictates that the higher placed team is away...
