Have now booked the SchönerTagTicket NRW offer ticket from Dortmund to Dulmen out 14.52 arrive 15.39 direct. Return 22.34 with one change arrive Dortmund 23.57.
Online tickets for up to 5 five people for Euro 43.00. Passenger names needed other than mine which only have to be hand written on the "online printed tickets". The number of travelers must be indicated at time of purchase. We are 3 only so cost Euro 14.33 each.
Hope info helps.

I have now received e-mail clarification from dbahn that only the lead ticket purchaser of the "up to five travelers" needs to be ever named.

There's been no chat about this for a while. Is everyone sorted for flights, hotels et cetera?

Yep, including myself there's 4 that I know are all booked up and a few more plan on doing it.

We're going to be based in Dortmund, probably Airbnb it as it will be cheaper.

Sitting in Majorca thinking about my next trip, maybe I should do this one? Was thinking of training it via Netherlands, any tips?

Flights to Weeze are really cheap, that's near the border of Germany and Holland, about 90km from Dortmund I think.

Alternatively go via Bruges or anywhere else in Belgium or that corner of Germany worth stopping off for a beer or five on the way through...

Other games are here. http://www.brentfordfc.co.uk/news/article/brentford-pre-season-201617-3093093.aspx Add Millwall for the Saturday 30th July. Only one fixture to be announced as far as I can see, the Home friendly planned for the 26th July - my sons birthday and a day before my shadows! :)

That was an issue last season. The training methods were a little different. I'm sure that this season, the players will be ready when the Championship kicks off.

Gutted to be told on Friday 'don't spend any more time on the Düsseldorf team as they won't be around much longer'. I did tell my boss he has buggered up my social plans! At which point he told me he was sorting a trip to Paris, a moment of joy dashed by him then saying 'after the Euros of course because I'm not going if there is a chance of those bloody nutters blowing is up'. Alan Pardew loving Tintin look alike, what a d1ck, that's my rant over so have a great time if you do go........

I'm surprised that Voice hasn't posted one of his famous rallying cries yet, "Anyone not going to this one blah, blah, blah"...but I reckon about 300 Bees on this trip!

To see the 300 in Germany, would be great support but, don't get ambushed like the Spartans did, it would be a little messy and we need our brave men for next season. ;)

Yep, Eurowings from Terminal 2. englANDbee has provided the train times and link. I think there's at least 9 of us on those trains now.

6 of us are in a hotel very close to the main Dusseldorf station too

Normally the higher placed team plays away. How comes we're at home to 2 teams below us (yes I know Millwall is Tony Craig testimonial but he is at Millwall isn't he?)?

Not impressed with them this season.

I suspect that we tried to arrange a home friendly with a few Premiership clubs without success as for Millwall - we are away and not at home

Is this still going ahead?

We voted out of Europe, any non English BFC players leaving the country might not be allowed back in.

We could start the season with a five aside team.

We're all doomed.

I did think the same thing in terms of our pre season opponents. We're not playing anyone of serious quality, Milwall and Peterbrough are about as high as it gets UK wise. Last year we had Norwich and Stoke.

I agree that the lateish announcement of the Pererbrough game meant we probably failed our other targets. Hopefully it won't be detrimental.

We did. And we played away at Millwall when they were a division higher about 15 years ago.

Even so, custom dictates that the higher placed team is away...
