Turgid rubbish. Lots of effort, energy and organisation, no guile or skill on the ball apart from Ince

Really,I think Preston look a strong well drilled side and will be a tough nut to crack this season.Their manager knows how to get out of this league he's done it 3 times.Skill alone won't get you out of this or any other division ,they are playing a championship side

Agreed they are big and organised and tough to break down but they have nothing going forward or in midfield. They won't score or concede a lot.

Preston are a big physical team, well organised, but very little creativity. Agreed they will be a tough nut to crack and they will probably be challenging towards the top.

In this game I think Blackpool will probably nick it as they pose more of an attacking threat. That probably means Preston will win on penalties.

The coppers riding the police horses that knocked over / trampled the steward may find themselves suspended in the morning.

Good win and great bragging rights but we could out football Preston IF we can win the battlebfirst. McCormack would be crucial for us.

As for Blackpool..... Awful relegation fodder IMOw

Haven't seen it myself but seen someone on facebook said it looked like a fan shoved him into the horse?

I agree with all that,Preston remind me of the Bolton side that won our league years back when Phill Brown was captain. We play them in December and if they are doing well it will be an intimidating place in a great stadium with good acoustics strong Ref needed.Think like Sheffied they don't have pace to go with the brawn at the back.

Accident. Why have a go at the police when every fan up and down the country knows it's illegal to set foot on the pitch these days?!

Both horseback police officers were showing immediate due concern to the steward. You have to blame the Preston fans for this...simples.

Ince having a go at the Blackpool fans...nicely deflecting from the fact that his side has been beaten by lower league oppo?

Despite their first day win I have a bet on Blackpool going down.

Because anybody with half a brain could see the risk that trotting in that direction at that speed. Somebody trained is horseback crowd control should be even more aware of what's happening around them.

If I mowed down a line of pedestrians while texting on my phone I'd show immediate concern.

Looks like the Preston fan's fault to me.
