TBF, if they carry on with the start they've had, we may need to change the title of this thread.

.............it won’t carry on.........,,,,,
I'm not so sure. I think that they have every chance of making the play-off's. Automatic promotion is probably going to be Foolham and WBA. Anyhow, if they somehow get promotion, along with Foolham then we could see the four West London teams in the premier league. That would be fun!

Their big problem is that Warburton's teams can't defend and sound defence gives the consistency needed to get promotion.

Forever is a very long time. I suggest we don’t get ahead of ourselves and take it one century at a time.
Mate, they are so bitter and twisted its beyond belief. Sick to the core of their bellies. They wont make the play offs this season but they think they are already top 2 contenders. We can sit back and laugh, just like they did for those years. Nobody wears the hoop tops around here cos we laugh at them LOL

I genuinely struggle to see QPR getting promoted, if you objectively look at the ex Brentford players, Barbet - too soft, Odabujo - full back (I think), so what?, Andre Gray, overrated. Whole career.

Bournemouth, Fulham (who I think will p*** the Championship) and WBA will contest the top 2. At best, QPR will be scrapping for the top 6 IMO. 🐝

To be fair to Barbet, MB seems to be getting the best out of him! I was surprised to read that he was the only Championship player to appear for every minute -not just ever present- of last season.

That is surprising - and actually says a lot. A bit of a makeshift for the Bees but every minute of every game for the ra ras.

Impressive he managed to avoid getting sent off all season!

I think a lot will defend on whether Dickie stays fit through the season.

Probably the best CB in the Championship and, if they don’t go up, someone we should be looking at to replace Pontus next year (if the Malmö rumours are true)

They're away to Muff, WBA and Fulham in the spread of 7 games after Reading.......should really be beating Brizzle, Brum, Preston and Blackburn at home in that little run tbh.

Be the usual Warburton Arc, just wait for the NY collapse....

I was looking at it as home bankers if you harboured any aspirations for top 6, they've drawn a couple at home this season against lower half teams but have a very good away record this calendar yr.

Think this window of games will give us all a better picture of where they're currently at as they've not really been tested yet.

It's not that surprising. He looked very comfortable in a back three for us, just a nightmare in a four.. Since QPR have gone to 3 at the back it's worked v well for him, means he can bring the ball out on that left peg of his but also has cover behind when he inevitably gets caught too far forward.

Interestingly at the time we were heavily linked with Dickie but opted to buy Goode....

2-0 Bournemouth. QPR were the better team until they gifted Mouth a goal, although you could say that's typical Warburton really. Nice little finish though.

Quite enjoying their fighting spirit.
Thinking of adopting them as my lower league second team to replace Wycombe and before that Barnet.

It’s the classic early season false dawn.
I didn’t see any quality from them. Lots of punts into the box, and 3 centre backs lumbering up.
It won’t last.

I see that QPR had to reduce their loyalty points to just 100 in order to sell their Bournemuff allocation.
Big Club, my @rse!!

A lot of the supporters are deluded, thinking they are Chelsea's rivals, i have Rangers mates that detest our rise to the prem, ( but apparently they don't care about us ) it must have been they're worst night mare when we won the playoff, in recent banter we had , they always chucked in the " you lot don't know what its like to win a playoff, " you lot have never played prem football " well that's two things we have ticked off ;) .
History may well point to the fact they are the bigger club, but we are catching them fast :owusu:

They weren't a bigger club back in the day. Not even in the 60's I'd say (yes I know they won the league cup). From 70's onwards then yes.

Correct mate. Always bleating on with statements like "we don't care about you lot" and
"always in our shadow". The real fact is that they are years behind us now and won't be
back in The Prem anytime soon. Fulham will get promoted this season which will leave
QPR being the lowest ranked Club this side of the City. They know it's coming LOL

I watched it on a dodgy ifollow stream. It was hilarious. Bentley had a blinder. That being said I reckon QPR are a million miles away from being good enough to go up. They have a couple of very good players in Chair & Willock. Otherwise it's typical Warburton fare, look great going forward but can't defend to saves their lives. I predict mid table mediocrity (which I suppose is a step up for them compared to recent years)
