A lot of the supporters are deluded, thinking they are Chelsea's rivals, i have Rangers mates that detest our rise to the prem, ( but apparently they don't care about us ) it must have been they're worst night mare when we won the playoff, in recent banter we had , they always chucked in the " you lot don't know what its like to win a playoff, " you lot have never played prem football " well that's two things we have ticked off ;) .
History may well point to the fact they are the bigger club, but we are catching them fast :owusu:

Alot of fans in football point to big or bigger clubs, as if they have a divine right to win the game because they have more supporters (and to a degree history).

Football is played on the pitch and the best players tend to win more matches than loose. Our current players and squad are miles better than everything QPR can currently offer. END OF.

Apparently the ref on Tuesday said that if the game was a PL fixture he would've abandoned it due to the crap floodlighting at LR.

(Reassuring as I thought my telly was on the way out).

But lots are complaining they are too bright! Must admit I have no problem from my seat in the North Stand.

TBF, if they carry on with the start they've had, we may need to change the title of this thread.

Entertaining enough game made better by the late WBA winner. Rara's look weak defensively even putting aside the keeper error.

Awesome scenes.

Cant wait to read MW's bitterness.

Too many games: “We’re placing such a demand on players and they will break. You’re asking athletes to deal with demands their bodies can’t take.

“We played two away games in a few days and lost Lee Wallace. Sam McCallum – as fit as you like, played 41 games for Coventry last season – out with a hamstring injury.

“You look at all the injuries in the league. It’s walking wounded all the time. There has to be at least a debate about what we’re going to do here.”

They didn’t play the QPR way: “We got the early goal then we frustrated them. We wanted to quieten the crowd and not play the QPR way, so to speak. Seny had no great saves to make and then we gave away two individual errors and that's the frustration. To get to seven minutes from the end of the game, be in that position and give away two goals of that nature is beyond frustrating."

They've not got the squad to do it. Just what we found the year before last. You can't play full on pressing attacking football 3 times a week and hope to go up unless you have a huge squad or robots like Leeds had. They're relying on a few old stagers too who won't play 3 games in a week. MW should know this after what happened when Douglas' legs went towards the end of the first season in the Champ.. Johansen's performances have already suffered apparently. I imagine they've spent a fair bit so won't be investing too much in the NY.... Must be hard for them seeing us appearing first on MOTD v Liverpool!! :)

That 2000 Brentford fans comment last season was the rantings of a mad man.
I am starting to think that he's haunted by the way he fell out with MB and how fortunes have differed since then. It's almost as if he's obsessed with trying to re-create what he nearly had, but doesn't actually know how to.

I think he thought he was going to go on and be an elite manager and has been found out.
