Mark Warburton is a very dull interviewee.
It’s not just at the mic: I’ve heard that his breakfast patter is soporific, too. Apparently, it’s much the same every morning: “Egg’s overdone, bacon’s well offside and how that fried bread is allowed to . . . but I’m sure those beans’ll learn from this!”

May I interject here that mockery of the recent heartfelt dispatch from Mr Malaprop of The Loft is unwarranted? It is our bounden duty as friends and neighbours to endorse the full lividity and conjunctability of his message.

Unless it's just a ruse to put pressure on LBH&F, then I'd say it looks like confirmation from the horse's mouth of what was already increasingly apparent, namely (a ) no new ground for QPR in less than 10 years, and (b ) if/when it does happen, it will be outside the borough.

Considering LBH&F already has Chelsea and Fulham in their patch, QPR are like Cinderella - except there's no sign of a handsome Prince!
If they do an mk and move miles away. Sound

I'm not normally one to commend QPR but at halftime last night they put a touching tribute on their screen to John Windsor, a massive Rangers fan who died earlier this year. He was a Hanwell boy who I was at school with, first at Oaklands then at Drayton Manor. I used to go to Rangers with him sometimes and he used to come to GP as well. In fact he was related to Ron Fenton and we used to chat to Ron before games on the Braemar forecourt. Good of Rangers to do that for one of their own.

Watched it last night and if Rangers are fifth in the Championship then all I can say if that the standard of the Championship this season must be an all time low. The quality of both sides last night was nothing to write home about. However i wouldn't mind us putting in a cheeky bid for Chair he was the only bit of quality on show and far too good for that lot.

I’d suggest Chair fails the checklist on both height and power and pace… apart from that…

Kinda agree, but would like to try. There wasn't anyone else on that pitch last night I thought would be able to put a Prem shift in.

Sign him to sit in the B’s bench just to wind them up.

Bit later on, 59-66. Dowling retired to the Isle if Sark when I was in the infants so never saw him. Living in Hanwell there was a split between Brentford, QPR, and Chelsea.

Read it. There was a ruck on the Uxbridge Road. Luton and QPR hate each other and have done since the mid-1980s.
I spoke to a rara mate today. He said it was mental. Up there with the worst he's seen.
He's old school and got the tee shirt.
Massive police presence otherwise it would of been carnage.

There was not 4 stabbings. Why are people making stuff up?
The Met said: “At around 9.50pm on Friday, November 19, officers on duty following the Championship match between QPR and Luton Town came across a man suffering a serious head injury in Uxbridge Road, near the junction with Devonport Road.
“The 52-year-old man, who is from the Luton area, was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.

So they came across him and despite the heavy police presence the Police said no mention of a fight....

They didn't come across him, they were led to him by Luton fans. A 26 year old QPR fan was arrested yesterday on suspicion of the attempted murder of the 52 year old Luton fan, who remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital.

The suspect has today been charged - not confirmed yet if the charge is attempted murder.

I was supposed to be away for weekend but was ill so cancelled all my plans and stayed in. Have plenty of friends who went and also due to being ill read a lot of accounts this weekend. If there were 4 stabbings think I would have heard it mentioned. Not heard mention of a single stabbing. The fan in a coma was not stabbed.

Stabbed or not the guy’s in a coma and someone’s been charged with attempted murder! That’s more than violent enough.

No mention of stabbings, but this wasn't an isolated incident, it was part of what seems to have been quite a bit of disorder, both before and after the game.

This thread on a QPR site refers to it, including eg this post:
"It was chaos after the game, we usually cut round the back streets and come out onto uxbridge road by Dominos but last night as we walked down we heard a lot of shouting, Luton fans running with bottles and throwing them at a group of qpr fans we were kind of stuck in the middle so doubled back to go up Loftus Road and get out of the way. Not a policeman in sight, they were all guarding the edge of loftus road to stop us getting home. My son was pretty shaken up and we ended up having to walk a stupidly long way back to Shepherds Bush and ended up ion a train full of Luton fans."

All stupid on both sides but at previous QPR games the police have taken us to White City afterwards. This time inexplicably they let both sets of fans mix afterwards on Uxbridge Road, where there were virtually no police.

Maybe there is some confusion in the story, iirc 4 QPR were stabbed in Luton around one game in the 80s, it either started the rivalry or intensified it at an early stage.

Yep that's right. A game in the mid-80s...

A lot of bad blood created by a large scale ruck at St Pancras in the late 80's, apparently...

I think you will find there was a number of people done from both sides with blades and bottles. Maybe question who you are getting your info off?as I do know this for a fact.
