That's quite a bold statement! Chair and Willock have never been involved in a playoff game whereas Cantwell and Buendia formed a major part of two Championship titles for Norwich.
Probably over did it with the comparison but what I would say is that both Cantwell and Buendia have massively underperformed at their current clubs.......so it could (likewise) be argued that Farke has a (proven) ability both in his coaching and tactics to get the very best out of his creative players.

Though he fell out with Cantwell himself so that might be more on Cantwell than Farke’s ability to get him playing well.

The Rara’s now sit 12th with one game left. They can finish as high as 9th which is unlikely considering the goal difference swing needed and can also finish as low as 16th if results go against them on the final day.

Nothing really surprising about QPR being a mid table club who have performed inconsistently across the season.

What is funny though is their 🔔🔚 fans obviously got disproportionately carried away with their run between mid December and mid January when they won 7 out of 9 games. Since then, they’ve reverted to type and taken only 16 points from the last 19 games.

A mediocre club ending a mediocre season in mediocre fashion. Let’s hope this continues into next season. With a bit of luck they might get to enjoy a London derby with Leyton Orient in League 1 in 2023/24.

They had a great calendar year in 2021 but I think the wheels are well and truly off now.

Slightly different...

but was walking the dog in Ashford on Saturday morning, and walked past a kids training session. 3 of the 10 kids were in Brentford home shirts. Amazing how things have changed, back in the day I was the only one in a Bees shirt, and would get laughed out of town!
Yeah, I know.
It's great seeing kids in Bees shirts.
I walk my dog in a couple of parks in Ealing,
always see kids on the pitches sporting our colours thesedays.

imagine that atmosphere if we lost the first couple of games under him next season. Warburton elevated to Sainthood, Charlie on the radio, The chief doing the odd podcast. You would have to have some sort of kevlar suit to sit in the directors box.
Rangers fans are taking it well.

I mean as conspiracy theories go this is just bonkers. He does realise that goal also relegated QPR???

Ah, you are right, must have been wishful thinking!
It very nearly did and the QPR players didn't know either way as results were still coming in, but I assume that given the time on the clock after the second City goal they probably thought there was less than a minute left and booting it out would eat up enough time.
