They've actually cut down their revenue to wages...I think it was 216% last year. Completely ridiculous but they seem to be churning ok on the pitch at least...although there's always a possibility that won't hold next year and they'll start to drop fast.

Playoffs look less likely now though, they're probably praying they get in there.

I mentioned this a while ago they will have to sell some of there best assets in the summer

Some Royals fan on Twitter reckoned it didn't matter because their owner is one of the richest people in the world. I bet his not given the club the money though at that Reading actually owe it to him.

Remember doing a fag packet calculation when we had debts, dividing the sum owed by an estimated amount of adult season ticket holders... The results were scary.

It's crazy how clubs like Reading manage to haemorrhage money on wages, considering they don't have many "big name" players. They've done well this season, but they must have been paying some incredibly average players extortionate amounts. I imagine the agents must love negotiating with them.
