Love to see Brendan Rodgers win the league.

4 games to go and 7 goals for the century for the first time in LFC top flight history.

Could get 7 at Norwich next week.

The media love in is sickening. It's great for English football that Liverpool haven't managed to win the title since the back pass was banned.

I hate them because when I was a kid they won everything and everybody in London and the SE supported them. I was surrounded by Liverpool and Arsenal fans at school who had never been to a game but took the pi55 out of me for supporting a sh*tty little team. My argument was always that at least I went to the games and "supported" my team. I also hate the way the media always harp on about how liverpool fans "really understand football"....they don't know any more about it than anyone else but they are generally gobshites who used to think they did because their team dominated european football.

I don't know why the media perception is that all other fans look at them as a second team and want them to win...I hate them in the same way as most neutrals hate Man Unt nowadays. I don't know where this comes from, horrid team with horrid pikey fans.

I listened to coverage of today's match on Talksport (ok, I know). It was cringe worthily unbalanced in favour of Liverpool. The commentators went mad for the Liverpool goals yet were practically apologetic when City mounted a challenge.

I'm deeply sympathetic to what happened at Hillsborough but I don't see why that transmits into support of today's team. It genuinely feels like saying anything remotely critical of Liverpool is akin to making an overtly racist remark.

Living just outside of Liverpool, I hope they do it. Every scouser I speak to knows of us and quite a few are v knowledgeable about our players (especially Bidwell/Forshaw and even the brief loan of McAleny). I would much rather they win it then any of the Mancs

There is a massive difference between Everton and Liverpool fans, except Andy Burnham, he is a **** with questions to answer still on MidStaffs.

better than seeing the same old sh*t win the league every year though..

No it feckin isn't....don't give a sh*t who wins it as long its not them or Fulham. One of the best nights ever as a neutral was Michael Thomas scoring that goal to win the league....GET IN

Really where you there in 1989 when their 'horrid pikey fans' gave us a standing ovation after the Cup Quarter Final at Anfield. Really haven't got a problem with them I reserve that for Fulham, QPR and Luton......

I was there at Heysel and there were groups of ticket less scousers on the rob, looting and misbehaving. Imagine holding the European Cup Final in Brentford and not bothering to lay on extra Police!

They still do it, even to their own but Hillsborough had no ticketless fans...not a single one...got that!

I'm not commenting on Hillsborough more trying to disprove the current press charm offensive that paints all scousers as witty, salt of the earth, football purists happy to enter into friendly banter with fans worldwide.

I lived in Liverpool for a few years and I have to say I loved the people there. They can have a bad reputation, but the majority I met were great. I always look out for Everton, Tranmere and Liverpool as I have a lot of friends who support those clubs . I want Liverpool to win the title. After all, one of the alternatives is Chelsea.

The Liverpool vs Chelsea game is sandwiched between Chelsea's Champions League fixures. They'll probably start Eto'o against Athletico Madrid (My second team for stopping breaking Fulham hearts) which means they may start Torres against Liverpool. There could be a huge story there if he scores the winner!!!

I would rather have Liverpool win than Chelsea and Man City. They simply have in the last two months played superb attacking football. They have been set up to attack and its a joy to watch. They also have a high number of 'English' players which can only be good for the long term of the national side. Sterling at the age of 19 was the best player on the pitch today. Exciting talent. Rodgers is also proving to be a top notch manager.
