Where do you get to see the full replay of the playoff final? I can't find it on the brentfordfc.com site.

Rewatched the Bournemouth home game. What a crazy first half of football that was. If I were a neutral would have loved it. But watching the game on TV I was a bag of nerves. Bournemouth really did self destruct in that match. That is probably the one game I wished I had attended in person. Will say it again fans were amazing that day.

There was a moment in the first game when with about ten minutes left, at 1-0, they decided to keep the ball in the corner rather than try and score again. Looking back I think we won the tie in that moment. If you start playing with fear with 100+ minutes left then you're done for.

That was the moment I thought we could do it. I couldn’t believe they weren’t going for the jugular to kill the tie off,

And then when they won a corner or throw (I forget which!) with 5 mins to go Mepham wants to come forward and is waved back by the “attacking” players and refuses until Woodgate confirms it. Apart from confirming their caution, wish to hold rather than try and give us a mountain to climb, and fear that we could easily score on the break, might it also have contributed to Mepham’s desperation to stop Bryan breaking away in the second leg, knowing that team and manager wouldn’t react or support him wanting to win if we pulled a goal back and would just sit back and invite us on?

Thanks for taking the trouble. I'm an iFollow subscriber and I follow the procedure you've set out here. But when I go to Latest Videos, I find I can get both Highlights and Extended Highlights but not the full replay. I click on the Full Match Replay button it just sends me to the Match Report. I've tried on numerous occasions, but no dice. I'm baffled. All I can think of is that it turns me down as I'm resident in France.

Well I'm in Spain and the full match replay link takes me the Match Centre, and from there I click Watch. I'd say you've been done.

I had this problem too. You need to be logged in. And although it might look like you’re logged in, maybe you’re not? Try watching one of the other vids first.

You jest but did you know you can recover teletext pages from old video recordings? So if you have some old vhs/beta recordings in a box in the loft even if the programmes aren’t of interest, the teletext pages hidden on them might be to some. The Teletext Archaeologist – A visual and interactive teletext history

Great. I've just discovered a new way to waste hours on end. There is an archive search on that site. Put in 'Brentford and you get nuggets like this;

Google throws up answers like
I have no idea how old this is and whether one of these would work for you. This may actually be breaking your Sky terms and conditions.

A goal kick from Harrow Borough FC
ReReReRewatching the Quest programme. Dean Ashton is now winding me up. The first thing he said after the game was “Barnsley didn’t turn up”, or similar. Just as well, ‘cos well as we played, I doubt we’d have beaten them and Swansea!

Watched the full game again last week, I still get wound up by the constant fouling and lack of cards for scummy Swansea, I shouldn’t care but I do,

On Saturday between the Portugal v German game and the Spain game I was trying to get through a few more recorded quest episodes and decided I didn’t have time so watched the highlights of the final again. Wife said FFS, can’t we watch something that’s not football for 20 mins before the next game starts. But look, if you pause it here you can see us in the stand as I point to two blurred blobs. I know, you have showed me every day for 3 or 4 weeks now

The first goal is OK but every time I see the second goal I get a lump in my throat and feel like I am going to cry.

I haven’t rewatched the whole thing, only the highlights, and not since the week after the match. I’m saving it as a happy place for if we have a bad one next season.

Does anyone know of a way to get a recording off a sky box and saved somewhere?

Sometimes I think the euphoria of Wembley has made some people forget just how bloody amazing the previous Saturday and the Bournemouth game were…I’ve also rewatched this several times

Am worried that the fantastic videos with club commentary on the official site will disappear on 1st July as the annual ifollow subscription period ends. Cam anybody ITK ensure the club retains these videos? Thanks.

Yes fully agree. Wembley was great but in essence was about getting over the line in any way possible, a performance was not required. On the day we did the necessary. Against Muff it was in our new ground and our backs were up against the wall, and then we produced the performance of the season. Will never forget the atmosphere. As has been said Lionel Road became our home in that instant, with our first unforgettable memory firmly embedded in our grey matter.
