Just got the GPG up for the first time today and this is the one thread I had been dreading seeing. So Sorry Greville. There are no words that can help but please try and fill your head with all the happy memories you have and try and stay strong for your family and more importantly yourself. Also, remember you have many good friends on here who i'm sure are always at the end of the phone if you need to chat. RIP Miriam
11 years ago today, Mrs Untouchable had her life saved by a very special team of doctors when her heart started to fail rapidly. Every year we spend time reflecting on that day and remember those doctors and how lucky we are that she made it.
I’m not ashamed to admit that whilst remembering our experience, I shed a tear on hearing about Miriam.
Greville - no words could ever adequately compensate for the loss and grief you are suffering. You have continued to post on here with your usual skill and courtesy and the class and dignity you have shown will act as a barometer for us all.
I had the absolute pleasure and privilege of meeting Miriam several times. This was the dreadful news that we so desperately didn't want to have to receive and my heart goes out to the whole family. The last few weeks will have been unimaginably tough for them but I hope Greville knows, at least, that we are all standing with him.
Greville is one of the most honourable good hearted chaps I have met through supporting this great club.
His strength and dignity in dealing with the events of the last month has been incredible.
Greville, you know your Brentford family are here for you over the next few months and seasons.
I was just thinking of a full house at Wembley Stadium. We have lost more folks to this horrible virus in just a few months. The numbers are staggering but your wife isn't just a number. I hope you and your family take some consolation and strength from a bunch of friends and strangers on GPG thinking of you at this time and in the weeks to come.
