How would you like our traditional rivalries with teams such as QPR or Fulham to be played out? Would you like to see them slide down the league into the oblivion of the Conference so that you can lord it over their fans at every available opportunity, or would you like to play them every season (preferably in the Premiership) and get the guaranteed 6 points and the bragging rights that goes with them? I'm for the latter as I feel that this is the only way they become self-generating (plus the 12 points would come in handy as we vie for a Champions League spot).

nothing better than a bit of bragging , but would like the prem to ourselves for a season or two,so we can chat to our friends from little old qphaha and Fulhscum for a while, before re igniting the rivalry and sh*tting on them both once again

When we are playing the second leg of our Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich on a Tuesday evening under a lit up Susan, I really wont care that Fulham have made it to the Southern Area Final of the Johnstone Tinpot Trophy, or that Queens Park Nomads have sold out the 3,000 capacity National Stadium of Uzbekistan.

Ideally I'd like us to be recognised as the strongest of the three west London clubs in the Championship next season.
Thereafter and assuming we get up I don't care what happens to them as long as we never play either again in my lifetime,

Hearing Fulham sing 1 - 0 in your cup final really reminded me how much I hate these *****.
I remember their 3000 crowds under Dick's.

Had a glance at TFI board , comments like "embarrassing to be playing Brentford" and "little neighbours" etc

laughable stuff, mostly from their johnny come lately's

£40k a week Ruiz? Yet inferior away support season on season

All very laughable....

I think my hate for Fulham has edged it over QPR.
I was never quite sure until Friday, but their arrogance is unbelievably even bigger than Rangers, which is saying something. Superiority complex at it's best.
It reminds me of how lucky we are to have real supporters who have earned the stripes!

Will never forget them singing " we'll never play you again " and belittling us when they beat us 2-0 in 98 . How times have changed , I don't think they are quite so smug now .

I agree. The only bit I am not sure about is would I want QPR's demise to be an immediate collapse and death, Or would it be more fun to watch them slowly and painfully slide out of existence.

Friday night was so good I can't believe anyone wouldn't want to be in the same league as Fulham for at least a few years. Next season I want to be playing QPR as well, the games against them when they came down to league 1 were always a damp squib and/or totally frustrating as we didn't turn up (on the pitch) so I feel like we owe them a night like Friday night.

Sounds good to me. Why bother with small fry like Fulham? It amazes me that so many people here seem to be obsessed with such an average, middle-of-the-road outfit.

My dream is to mix it with the big boys. If you're going to have rivals at least have some worthy of you!

You have to have rivals - it's in the rules. Having been, for a large part of my football fandom, the "smallest" out of the three "other" teams in West London, having had to put up with them swanning around in the PL, I wish to spend a rather long time being bigger than them. Fulham are welcome to our old berth in Lge1, I suspect we'll have to put up with QPR snapping at our ankles for a few years to come.

Loved every moment of fridays game, how sweet was that ?
Although I think the same over QPR would've topped it for me.

Bring on the derby games, Championship or Prem, don't care.

I take the long view. I waited around 36 years to see us play QPR and I had been coming to GP for about 15 years before we ever played Fulham. I have seen us do over Fulham enough times but QPR? It's coming soon.

I was standing on Ealing Road when they sang that and a nice, older chap in a brentford pin-adorned waistcoat meekly replied 'We don't want to! We don't like you!' I thought of him on Friday and how happy he must be.

Agree it would be great to see a long slow QPR demise but some idiot might save them so just go bust and get out of football Fulham just as long as we are above them (and winning ) is fine

Just remember it was QPR that tryed to close us down in 67 never forget

"Without a wealthy owner...".

They're in for a shock, aren't they.

There does seem to be some respect for what we are doing on that thread though, except for the comments about buying us which is rather ironic given our wealthy owner and their massive financial problems.

QPHA tried to finish us, all we did is play Fulham, no more, yes their arrogant but QPHA over Fulham everytime, I cannot stand them. I was so disappointed when they beat Derby in the play offs as I cannot wait for the day when we go back to Loftarse Road and smash them.

In the wrong
Brentford are in "good times" and soon they'll have their new stadium which might see them able to establish themselves as a medium level Championship side for the reasonable future.

But that'd be the end of it because, without a wealthy owner, that's all a stadium of that size could sustain.

And is why we need to move away from LR.

How has this been allowed to happen. Not only has Lionel Road been built and completed the scum from the Bush are playing in it.:mad1::mad1::mad1:

Their wealthy owner is not even a fan of QPR.
Fernandes was keen to buy his first love - West Ham, before the QPR deal happenned.
