FT. Excellent 3 points agains a horrible team to play. Another away clean sheet and 2 points off the top.
We got out of our last 2 (Sheff Weds and Barnsley) with 6 points.......Still time for another 3 here......
No he isn't - on tonight's performance you would not leave out Norgaard for Jensen!Norgaard is going to struggle to get his place back.
Because we didn’t sell him!Was literally about to type that. How is he not in the PL?
You don’t rate janelt then.No he isn't - on tonight's performance you would not leave out Norgaard for Jensen!
Less attractive but more clinical. Fine by me, would rathet have the pointsWe’re not as fluent as last year, but are we more solid?
Norgaard back in; Janelt still in; Jensen out.You don’t rate janelt then.
Definitely. Not as pretty or as free-flowing but much harder to beat. Still a way to go, and I'm not sure that this team would have got to where the one did at the end of last season, but if they did, they would have beaten both Stoke and Barnsley. We’re not as fluent as last year, but are we more solid?
A move in January, to the right club & he could make the England squad for the Euro's this summer. Wouldn't begrudge him it, brilliant every week for us.Absolutely exceptional again, we will struggle to keep him if we don’t go up. Certainly wouldn’t begrudge him a January move
It’s a shame that it takes a move to a PL team to get noticed for England, certainly wouldn’t do worse than any of the back up options, especially when Southgate is playing the likes of Trippier at LB. Hey ho that’s another topic and slightly wishful thinking on my behalf.A move in January, to the right club & he could make the England squad for the Euro's this summer. Wouldn't begrudge him it, brilliant every week for us.
Home commentators saying we were getting away with a lot that the ref didn’t see/deal with but did say: “Good luck to em.”WTF is Warne moaning to the ref about? Dirtiest side I've seen for a long time...
The *only* thing he could have been saying was ‘thanks for not dishing out ten yellow cards and not sending McDonald off. The cheque‘s in the post’.WTF is Warne moaning to the ref about? Dirtiest side I've seen for a long time...
I was really worried Ivan would lose his rag and lash out. Kept his head well though tbf..The *only* thing he could have been saying was ‘thanks for not dishing out ten yellow cards and not sending McDonald off. The cheque‘s in the post’.
Disappointing to see a side commit so many snidely little fouls as part of their game plan - no mad double footed tackles or elbows in faces, just horrible tugs of the jersey or a foot left in to trip a player up. Rotherham have got some good players too.
I like a good, physical contest with 'proper' tackling. But there's a difference between that and the filth that Rovram served up. In non-league you might expect it but at this level they are just an embarrassment.Listening to Rotherham commentary on iFollow, beyond embarrassing. Those guys are adamant the committed next to no fouls??
Think as others have said we are holding out against the kind of football we normally lose to. Still work to be done though. We’re not as fluent as last year, but are we more solid?
Nothing to stop by you. If I can use I follow anyone can!Well done Bees, would love to have seen it
Yeah from him. Lot of incredulity from other posters on that website. We went down too easily etc.Nice bit of honesty on their message board:
Deserve nothing playing like that. Same old negative ****, cant string 3 passes together without kicking long to no man's land and we are the dirtiest team I have ever seen nearly half the team on yellow cards absolute disgrace.

What a preformance on Saturday! The first goal was a sorry looking penalty that Dean Ashton described as an embarassment for a forward to go down as he did even though Blackman did touch him if only slightly. But boy, that save on the floor didn't half make up for it! To be honest, I as well...boards.footymad.net
Hopefully he will with us, the only consolation if we don't go up he will move on, (Villa?) and that will be another £20 million+ in the bank. Was literally about to type that. How is he not in the PL?
They started in 1889.I knew they were filth. But 75 years? I thought Sheffield United were dirtier in 1979.
Ref was a joke mate, that was part of their tactics to rough us up, they were a disgrace. Those tactics will get them relegated, as apart from injuries they will always have players suspended. I hope they go down, cloggers. He has got to start booking these players Jesus wept,
Glad you said that about Jensen cos i thought the same. Yet others on here do not seem to think so.That was impressive. Not pretty first half but effective. We are keeping things tight. We know how important it is for us not to fall behind in games where the opposition are set up to stonewall. Toney is an impressive individual. Confident, focussed and clearly a leader. Superb assist for Forss and a penalty cool as you like. Lots of tired hard workers out there. No one is hiding. I thought Jensen looked classy and Rico was excellent (yet again)
Thomas has already said this week we're not going to sell anyoneA move in January, to the right club & he could make the England squad for the Euro's this summer. Wouldn't begrudge him it, brilliant every week for us.
Very honest assessment by their manager afterwards.Sky showed the stats afterwards which showed they had 3 yellows (and a 4th for the red). I could have sword it was 6 or so! Felt like it.
Rotherham know they're not going to outclass opponents though, and had they tried we'd have been toasting a 4-0 win tonight. They're doing what they can, and doing it quite well. Dealing with fouling, disrupting teams is part of the game, and we did it well. It's much better to accept it will happen and deal with it, than to draw 0-0 and complain...
