Good afternoon/evening all, Shrewsbury fan here dropping in after hearing the news.
I'm not familiar with your squad, so I don't know if he'll slot right in to your starting XI. He has the ability though, no doubt. He won't look out of place at all.
Has an eye for a pass, will spray the ball pretty much anywhere with accuracy.
He's remarkably composed on the ball, won't rush a pass but won't dilly dally on the ball either.
Pretty much every good attack we had as a team went through him. He played his part, and then some.
He may not be the strongest player, but he won't stop battling if he loses the ball, he'll stick on a man and keep getting at him until he wins the ball back. He's gritty I guess you could say.
He has the potential to improve his game with the right coaching.
He can get brushed off the ball a little too easy at times, it's not often that happens though, like I said he can hold is own with ease. This is only a minor gripe.
Don't expect him to score. Although he's not that type of player so that's not a legitimate 'weakness' in his game. He's more defensively minded.
I'd just like to point out you've got an absolute steal at £750k too (that's the rumored fee – poss add ons / clauses?). That's good business by your lot.
Nevertheless, you've got a gem on your hands now. Let's hope he continues to improve so we can get a nice wad of cash when you sell him later on down the line.
All the best.
The comments on here sound very familiar to the ones on macleod when he signed. Rangers fans telling us we have a steal and a big prospect destined for big things. I hope this one works out abit better for both parties!
Why would that thought even pop into your head
Was just reading all the comments and got de ja vu of when macleod joined. Was only a light hearted comment, i know macleod is still here aswell and hopefully between woods, josh, macleod, toums, judge, kk even tebar we have a very strong midfield
